Can someone lose their salvation?

Hi grover, glad you brought this up. There have been quite a lot of supernatural testimonies where people have been made aware that had they died at a certain time, they would have been lost, though they formerly were saved. Its also consistent with a full view of Scripture.

Its not consistent with some people's theology. I know that.

It is not a question of adding works to Jesus' work in order to be saved. It is a question of taking Hebrews 10:26-31 and many other passages like it seriously. What does that Scripture mean to you? Remember it was written to church going spirit filled Christians.

Heb 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
Heb 10:27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.
Heb 10:28 Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
Heb 10:29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
Heb 10:30 For we know Him who said, "VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY," says the Lord. And again, "THE LORD WILL JUDGE HIS PEOPLE."
Heb 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Who is this talking to? It is talking to "HIS PEOPLE", "WE" and those who were sanctified by the blood of Jesus.

God has laid out the conditions whereby we may be saved. Keeping these conditions does not earn us salvation, it merely proves that we are actually saying YES to God and NO to the whole system of rebellion against the divine will.
