It saddens me greatly when I see and obviously intelligent individual chose to not only turn their back on God, but to begin to worship other gods (demons) in order to justify their sin. The reason Adam cannot just ignore the Christian faith, but must condemn it is because of what God has written in his heart. He knows the sin he is living in is wrong, but instead of coming to Christ for forgiveness, he denies he ever existed. Some people run from Jesus, others chose to turn and fight. Adam has clearly chosen to fight, but it’s a fight he cannot win. Adam’s fight with Jesus will end either one of two ways. Either he will lose and spend eternity in hell or he will finally surrender to God’s will. I ran from Jesus for most of my life, but in the end, I surrendered. Praise God that I did. I pray that Adam will eventually stop fighting God and surrender. Then he will know what true freedom is all about.
