"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you shall ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." (John 15:7)

Prayer:
Lord, teach me by Your Spirit how to abide in Christ, day by day, hour by hour. Teach me how to retain your words in my heart. Then I will ask what I desire and it shall be done for me.

Confession:
I abide in Christ and I will abide in Christ.
His Words abide in me and will abide in me.
I shall ask what I desire and it shall be done for me.

Personal Comments:
Actually abiding in Christ requires ultimately a total dedication to do the will of God, which is to walk in love, which is self sacrificial. His Spirit empowers us for this kind of living, but does not take over our will. We have to keep choosing to go after God, His presence, and to walk in love, forgiveness and truth.
