BEMA - the judgment seat of Christ

I appreciate your teaching on man's supertitious beliefs here. That men who have money and lots of possessions including real estate are perceived by many people to be blessed by God. In other words, we believe these men are righteous, otherwise God would not bless them with riches.

The reality is that we own nothing in this world. We are only stewards of what God gives us. However, this superstitious belief, throughout ages, still infiltrates the churches today.

The love of money and materialism is not only restricted to the rich. Financial gods and materialism invoked by greed and the fear over money know no class distinctions. I have seen these trappings, both to the poor and the rich in my work around the world.

Here is a link to a beautiful message about the judgement seat of Christ. When you realise what the goal is THEN it motivates you to live right for God NOW.
