BENEFITS

O fear the LORD, you His saints - revere and worship Him! For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship him with godly fear. Ps 34.9

The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant. Ps 25.14

The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them. Ps 34.7

The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy. Ps 147.11

Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendents will be mighty on the earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in His house, and His righteousness endures forever. Ps 112

But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children's children. Ps 103.17

As a father pities his children, so the LORD pities those who fear him. Ps 103.13

HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO FEAR THE LORD?

Do not let your heart envy sinners, but in the fear of the LORD continue all day long. Pr 23.17

Better is a little with the fear of the LORD, than great treasure with trouble. Pr 15.16

Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised. Pr 31.30

WE ARE COMMANDED TO FEAR THE LORD

Oh, fear the LORD, you his saints! There is no want to those who fear him. Ps 34.9

God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be held in reverence by all those who are around Him, Ps 89.7
