I prefer the King James Version. I don't mind other translations, but I like spending time in the KJV. I like the fact that I have to put forth effort in order to understand what God is saying to me. It makes me feel as if I'm "studying to shew myself approved." 1 Timothy 2:15. I love this version and the way it speaks to me through the Holy Spirit, it speaks power and a full meaning that I don't seem to get in other versions.
