Spirit, Soul and Body - the Tripartite nature of Man

"Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."
(1 Thessalonians 5:23)

"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being [nephesh – soul]."

How to Choose a Life Partner

Which Way Lord? - Chapter 5 - Dr Chandrakumar
Chapter 5 - How To Choose Your Life Partner

If you are a believer in Christ, your life partner should also be a believer (2 Cor. 6:14,15; 1 Cor. 7:39). Nothing should be more important to you or to the person you marry than your spiritual well being. You should only settle for a believer who is spiritually sensitive to the Lord and desires to live for Christ (Eph. 4:17-5:20; Phil. 3:7-16; 1 Jn. 2:15-17). read more »

Not 7 times, but 70 x7

Did you come equipt with a greivence book attatched? I was wondering how many people think that they have one. I don't know where they put it, is it under their arm, or under the hair on their head, or maybe on the Souls of their feet. I have Never seen one on any one, yet if you look real hard, you may find that you have one in your heart. I always thought that people would look pretty odd running around with a book attatched to them with a name of everyone they have met on it and if for every offense they would put ;next to each name; a chicken scratch of a 1 per each offense. read more »

Fear Is Nothing More Than Faith In The Devil

Which Way Lord? - Chapter 11

Fear Is Nothing More Than Faith In The Devil

Fear is rampant in the world today, at every level of man’s living. Fear of the future, fear of the present, fear of war, fear of being found out, fear of being attacked, fear of non- acceptance or rejection, fear of death, fear of persecution fear of failure without or within have gripped many lives. Pride vs Humility

If anyone has a right to be proud, it must be God. After all, He created the world without any help from you or me. He Himself is uncreated, eternal, and utterly faultless. If you think there is a problem with God, you are just showing your ignorance. He Himself dwells in unapproachable light, He is mighty, glorious, perfect in beauty and splendour, ominiscient - no one and nothing can compare to Him. He is the only One qualified to be proud. And yet, He is humble. read more »

Gods Will in Marriage

Which Way Lord? - Chapter 3 - Dr Chandrakumar

God’s Will In Marriage

“Brother, how can I find God's will in choosing my wife/my husband?” is a very pertinent question. Today, there are thousands of broken marriages, as much importance has not been given to this question.

Once when I was ministering to young people in Singapore, a young girl came and asked me, “Brother, I have already fallen in love with a young boy, now how can I find God's will?” My immediate answer was, “You have fallen? Get up! read more »

The power in your words

Words – the Key to a Better Life

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit" (Proverbs 18:21)

Is there really power in your words?

According to the Scriptures, the tongue has a power. Notice it says here, "the power of the tongue". Its obvious that the power referred to here is not the physical power of the tongue as a muscle, but the power of the words it produces. I've never heard of the word "tongue" used in relation to God Himself. Its a word used of human speech. So we can see that the Word of God is saying that our speech is tremendously important, powerful and significant. So much so that our words are a matter of life and death. Perhaps this is why Jesus declared, "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment." (Matthew 12:36). "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." (Matthew 12:37). These declarations of Jesus Christ should cause us to sit up and take notice, and consider very carefully what kind of words are coming out of our mouths and why. read more »

On Christian Contemporary Music and Christian Rock

"The disciple is not above His Lord. If we want the joy of Christ, we must do what Christ did. For Him, satisfaction was not the result of finding some Christian pleasure to compete with the world's pleasure. It was not a question of being entertained by church performances instead of secular performances. Christ does not compete by promising a religious equivalent of what the world offers, pleasure for pleasure. It is completely different. The pleasure of Christ is the will of God and its enactment. read more »

The Battle is His - Victory is Mine

Which Way Lord? - Chapter 13 - Dr Chandrakumar

The Battle Is His, Victory Is Mine

Victory is your inheritance, if you are born again, and belong to the kingdom of God by receiving Christ in your life. First, desire your victory, await readily anticipating it to come on your way and then claim it through the word of God, “You give me your shield of victory and your right hand sustains me…” (Ps. 18:35). Jesus said, “…Take courage, I have overcome the world.” (Jn. 16:33).

Our victory is solely based on Christ’s Victory on the cross. read more »
