Shalom! I was very religious for most of my life and I stayed in communication with several Christians. But I was never quite in THE TRUTH, I was myself a Christian the whole time. But the truth remained hidden from me although I thought I was in the light the sad fact was that I was only looking at the light while standing at a distance in the darkness.
You see Christianity is false Christian ministers are false The Rapture is False and the name JESUS CHRIST is false!!!
However the Bible is true, the whole book. But Christianity and its dogmas like all other religions are FALSE. The truth is in the Bible and it is not hard to see. Though the book has been horribly translated, added to, taken away from, and with held for a peculiar time and time length it is truth.
This may hurt but the purpose is this...Forsake religions and turn to the truth of the Scriptures. Obey the Torah (granted not the stoning or sacrificial parts) Believe in the Messiah and his instructions. Study to show yourselves approved and good workers that do not need to be ashamed.
I am a Hebrew and an Israylite. Whether you are also or if your a Gentile or some other nation it does not matter...WHOSEVER will let him COME. But come with truth. To Start the Names of Salvation. The Father is YAH and the Son is Yahoshua! Use these Names and do not blaspheme them! Repent and Believe!
Shalom!
SIGH..............
Misha'yl Israyl, which you say your name is, comprises the name "el" twice. In Hebrew there are no vowels, per se, and the user is left to put them in place... so the "yl" is as valid as "el" and so you are a double pagan.
Sounds silly, doesn't it - because it is. Yet here we go on making names into a sign of righteousness or evil deception. If I say "Jesus is Satan, but let's not turn it into a debate", how honest is that? This topic strikes me as similar in nature. There are some real issues to talk about, and I do not see how this is one of them... it has all the marks of a vain dispute, stemming from a flawed assertion. Please prayerfully consider where you place your confidence. Mine is in the person, not the name, of Jesus Christ, who has many names in many languages.
Shalom, Tim
It really doesn't matter if you use Hebrew forms, Greek forms, English forms or some other forms.
What counts is the PERSON you are referring to, and IF YOU KNOW HIM. Not the phonetics.
The name of God is not a special magic word you must invoke correctly in order to please Deity. It is not the godly equivalent of "Abracadabra".
I have cast out demons in the name of "Jesus", "Isus" and "Yeshu". Not once did the demon say: "I'm not coming out because you didn't use the proper Hebrew!"
WHY would accepting my commonsense statements "deny the depths of spiritual warfare that all righteous believers are supposed to be in"? I think you are jousting with the wind like Don Quixote.
You talk about "depth". Tell me:
When was the last time God used YOU to cast out a demon? Tell us about it.
When was the last time God used YOU to lay hands on a chronically ill person and they were healed?
And do you really think you are building your case by aligning your religious philosophy with the practices and beliefs of occultists who believe that speaking the name of some spiritual entity in a particular language is going to give them special powers?
Following Jesus/Yeshua is not about ritual names, hocus-pocus or "deep" knowledge.
I don't think casting out demons makes one spiritually secure. But the inability to cast them out certainly demonstrates a lack of the kind of spiritual knowledge Jesus (and YES I will use the name of JESUS) expected His own disciples to have. Mark 16:17; Matthew 10:8
So you belief that YEHOSHUA is actually created? You don't believe He is God? You are doing a fine job of exposing yourself.
Your words are not so much unpleasant as unhelpful. All sincere religious people aim to speak truth. It is commendable to have this aim, and necessary, but it is not sufficient.
The Bible says in Mark 16:17-18 "These signs will follow those who believe: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues ... they will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover."
So if you are claiming to be into "deep" spiritual warfare, let's see if you've MASTERED THE BASICS. You are not willing to answer these questions because you think you will be offended - that is a real cop out in my view.
I really don't care how much you have studied. If you claim to be a mature Christian (perhaps the term Christian also offends you - if so, please go and find another site) - one with superior knowledge to 99.9999% of all who claim to follow the Messiah because of what you perceive to be your correct usage of the name of the Messiah - then you ought not to be ashamed to answer questions which are fair questions for anyone who is willing to allow themselves to be subjected to any kind of test for authenticity.
Your question implies that I don't believe something basic. I fully believe in the humanity of the Messiah. But I also believe that Jesus is divine. If you deny this, it means you are totally outside the camp of historic Christianity.
And if that is the case, do not come here to teach us. I'll just ban you, don't worry about that. You can promote your religion somewhere else.
People like "from the wind" start out as Christians but somehow they come to believe that the "something more" they seek will only come if they start getting into Hebrew roots, Hebrew names, Jewish Sabbaths and Jewish doctrines. You see where it leads in the post above:
"When I was a Christian ..."
"From the wind" is no longer a Christian by his own confession. (I assume from the profile "from the wind" is male).
The word "Christian" means many things to many people but let us not forget it is a New Testament word.
It is used three times in the New Testament in Acts 11:26, Acts 26:28, 1 Peter 4:16 .
Its true meaning is "a disciple of Jesus Christ".
"The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch" (Acts 11:26).
You don't have to major on the term Christian but anyone who denies that they are a Christian biblically speaking is basically denying that they are a disciple of Jesus Christ.
It seems to me that "From the wind" is saying I am not a redeemed person which is why he uses the word "Neighbour" at the end of her comment.
He is also saying that he is sent by the Messiah, and because I don't accept him, I don't accept the Messiah. How INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT he has become in his own eyes since doing all this study on the Hebrew names of Christ! Those who are not for him are against Christ! Incredible.
He says "I am angry and displeased". I'm displeased of course, in the sense that such proud and foolish heresies give me no joy, but I don't feel "angry". There is too much sin going on in the world - too much indifference, prayerlessness, idolatry and so on all around to give major emotional important to what one studier of Hebraism says - as he declares me and virtually the entire historical Christian church anathema in some sense.
He writes "you have deemed the Truth unhelpful". What he means by this is: "What I write is the Absolute Truth and you say that it is unhelpful". So you are not a lover of truth.
The Day of Judgment will reveal who is and who is not a lover of truth.
It will also reveals for all of us to what extent "the pride of your heart has deceived you" (Obadiah 1:3).
Claims to exclusive, elitist special knowledge are very suspect, and they are the mark of false cults. The implication is that unless you accept all this man says, you are a despiser of truth and of the Messiah! That would make him very important, wouldn't it? Almost as important as Joseph Smith, Mohammed or Rev Moon, who all believe that their revelations were essential up to date messages from God which would be rejected at the price of one's eternal future.
"I am not a Christian and I have repented of the falsehoods of Christianity", he writes. Well its not hard to find falsehood in the church, but its also pretty easy to spot it in proud Hebraistic exclusivistic cults also.
Because this man now denies the divinity of Jesus Christ or Yehoshuah Ha Maschiach and denies being a Christian he is in a new religion which is some kind of syncretism of Judaism and Christianity. I could almost guarantee that he thinks the New Testament was written in Hebrew and that Paul was a false apostle. I could be wrong about that, but I've seen this is the direction people go once they continue on this path in search of hidden spiritual treasures only accessible to those who go in pursuit of forgotten knowledge.
Paul warned people who succumbed to Judaizers that they had fallen from grace - see the Book of Galatians. What we have seen here is a very good example in my view of how this happens and what it looks like.
So take heed to yourself and study your Bible so you won't be taken in.
Why do you work so hard to try to convince others that the only access to Jesus is by using the name Yeshua????
I did not know to ask Yeshua to be my Savior but the name of Jesus....Am I not saved & forgiven by the Blood???I can say with great certainty that my life was drastically changed not by calling on Yeshua but on Jesus to save me..Do I still use the name of Jesus in my prayers & conversations to Him??Yes
I sense that you want to be banned whereas you can pat yourself on the back & say I am more knowledgeable then they are...
It sounds like from the wind is practicing Gnosticism, whereas the "sacred namer" types like him feel they have some special knowledge that one can only receive by using what they feel are the true hebrew names.
It saddens me that they are so confused and brainwashed.
I have ran into this before where people demand that one must use the name Yeshoshua. Demons must leave when one uses the name Jesus. I have also had people say that you cannot use the Greek name for Jesus but what name would those who live in Greece use when they call upon the name of the Lord??? Demons are subject to His name in whatever language His name is spoken in & realize that they cannot stay. As far as returning 7 fold to the one who was delivered---nowhere does the Bible declare that this will happen if a name is used other than Yahoshua. The Scriptures say that a person will have demons return IF they do not keep their spiritual house clean i.e. returning to their ways that led to demons...
I greatly disagree with the statement that you put on here concerning ALL Jews.
Your quote that I disagree with:
The people who are accepted as Jews are known for Cabala. Which you may or may not know is a very wicked practice in which Scriptures and "sacred names" are used to invoke evil spirits and worship fallen angels. There are other types of groups like this one but the Jews are the most wicked of them. For the likes of those groups the names mean everything especially magic.
Cabala is not readily accepted by the Jews but is a cult & not every Jews belongs in this cult. There are also cults that claim to be Christian but are not ...
Hollywood is full of Cabalists & also Scientologists. Scientologists claim to be Christian but are a cult..Would you accept this if I said the people who are accepted as Christians are known for Scientology???I do not think so & your reasoning about All Jews being Cabalists is as irrational as if I said the people who are accepted as Christians are known for being Scientologists.
I believe you mean well.
You are being tripped up by the names used in the Bible. There are many Hebrew names of God in the Old Testament as well as Greek names of God in the New Testament.
We don't deny this and mean NO disrespect when we use the name 'God' for all the many names the Hebrew and Greek language describes this awesome Person or Deity. This is the God we serve.
Then we come to the Greek word in the New Testament which is 'Christos' and means 'annointed' and is the equivalent of the Hebrew 'mashiyach', translated "Messiah". You know Him by another name, but He is the Son of God. He was part of the Godhead but became the Son of God when He was born of Mary.
He is the Messiah the Old Testament saints were looking for. It is He who has taken away the sins of the world of those that believe.
This is The Christ, and He loves you.
Hi Wind, I want to sort of answer your previous post first:
When we speak of our God we use a capital letter 'G' and if we refer to any other god we will use a lower case 'g', but you know that - just as you did when you titled your post.
As I mentioned previously Christ is translated from the Greek word 'Christos' and is the equivalent of the Hebrew word 'Messiah' Not 'roughly translated' as you say, it IS.
I have found no place where the words 'Christ' or 'Christians' was translated 'idiots', and never expected to either.
Act 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
χριστιανους - Christianos - followers of Christ. (Still no other translation.)
Strong's Hebrew and Greek Translation
No, Christ the Messiah, did not come to start a new religion: Christianity is a way of life.
Wind, I understand where you are coming from, you are looking at Christians from an Old Testament point of view whereas we do it from the New Testament stand point .
You are reiterating the importance of using the correct name for our God and His Son.
If we call Christ our Saviour, the Son of God, you feel we must call Him Yahoshua the Son of YAH the Messiah, as an example, which technically may be correct, but that does not make what we believe, wrong.
In different languages names (in the Bible also) may be spelt and pronounced differently, does that make it wrong? Does it mean that they are speaking of someone entirely different.
From what you have said on another post about the 'J' not being in the alphabet before 1611, in my home language (Afrikaans) the names Jehovah, JAH etc are spelt the same (some anyway) as in English but the 'J' are pronounced as you would with a 'Y' in Hebrew, does it make that Bible more correct than the English KJV from which it was translated?
As a sister in Christ on this site said: 'Faith is the currency of the Kingdom', and thats the criteria required; Faith that Christ died for our sins and on the third day rose again and now sits on the right hand of God! Faith that Christ is who He says He is, the Son of God etc.
I do understand you want to make a point but I believe you are going about it the wrong way.
Do you realize you are trying to sow discord and using blasphemous statements?
I want to take a leave out of your own book and with love say: "Use these Names and do not blaspheme them! Repent and Believe!"
Jesus loves you! (and so do we)
Hi Misha'yl
Definitions are from the Strong's Concordance, Dictionary.
The Strong's Dictionary, is the most widely used for the use of "Biblical Word Definitions", being accepted as the definitive authority of word definitions for the K. J. V. (1611) having been taken directly from Ancient Greek Word Translations.

2) There are Christians, who have accepted Jesus, as the promised Messiah to the Jews.
3 There isn't any third category,
4) The closest you could come would be Messianic Jew, but this is not accepted by Judaism as a sect of Judaism, but Messianic Jews are accepted as a viable Denomination of Christianity.
This Denomination is comprised of both Jews, and Gentiles which have accepted Jesus as their Savior.
The words (Messiah , Christ) are both "TITLES" for the same person who is the Savior of the world.
Be Blessed

What does God hear? What does satan hear? Do we alone move satan or does God do the heavy lifting?
You can move your mouth all you want, say Jesus in any language you want , but ultimately GOD is the source of power in all things good. Whether deliverance, provision, healing, supplication or anything,....you name it! When you call his name, as a Good Father...he will answer. Do you think God is gonna hear you, but say.... nope... mispronounced... you gotta buy a vowel son. NO. God can hear our voice, but WE that are born again are born of the Spirit and it's OUR SPIRIT that communes with God NOT our FLESH...i/e not our natural voice. When we speak to God and when HE is moved to action it's because he hears our spirit via HIS Spirit. Man is so caught up in himself and cannot seem to get out of the "flesh paradigm". We are to render our flesh as dead...meaning consider it dead, worthless...null and void...but our spirit IS ALIVE! That's why Paul was so appalled (Paul appalled...hee) by his own flesh...doing the things he didn't want to do and not doing the things he did want to do. Paul was talking about he conflict between flesh and spirit and his frustration with it. His spirit hated his flesh and his flesh hated GOD. Oh what a wretched man am I! This of course is the key to Grace, but I know that's another discussion....fer sure. At least let me say...Your Spirit is Born Again not your flesh, Render your flesh as dead yes,,,can a dead man sin? NO Can your spirit sin? NO It, our life should literally be an "out of body experience", but our spirit has to remain in this body of death until we go home. The O.B.E, I'm not not getting new age OK...just drawing a picture. So can you sin? NO, NOT ME, because I'm a Born Again Child of God...a spirit that is born again, NOT my flesh...flesh dead, spirit alive. Spirit can't sin, I'm spirit, not flesh..so no I can't sin! Maybe my flesh can break the commandments, but that's NOT me! Do you identify yourself with your flesh? When your flesh sins do you say..yep that's me...that's Gods new creation...or do you, like Paul say...I hate they guy....he always makes me do what I don't want to do. I hope not...I hope you don't identify with your flesh...as being you....because YOU are born anew! Eeerrrrgghhh....I hear the gnashing of teeth right now! Please exercise your patience.... I'm your brother so you gotta love me,,,you just don't have to agree with me. Anyway...Your flesh will always sin...it cannot sin enough to "un-birth" your spirit. That's what Jesus was explaining to Nicodemus. Again, a discussion for another day, ok, but a challenge for the future. Any scripture you can through at me that you think undermines eternal Grace aka eternal salvation I can, by Gods Grace and in His Will show that's it's a misinterpretation or misunderstanding of what is being said. I know it sounds...cocky,,,but it's not me....it's Gods Plan, Gods Grace, Gods Salvation for us. I of course will NOT say..."in order to avoid debate" ..just swallow what I'm saying...no that presumptuous, arrogant and unfair....to shut down the conversation before it even starts. I know I'm rambling...sometimes I do that...but I am telling the truth. I'm a prophet of God and as Popeye would say, "I yam what I yam " . Last thing about Grace and all the things of GOD actually. If you will get out of your HEAD, away from thinking of yourself or seeing things from the Flesh perspective, but from the Spirit, then everything changes. I liken it to one of those 3D images in the funny papers...you know the ones that look like a bunch of colors and noise....but if you focus just perfectly...i/e get out of your natural way of seeing things, then you can see the REAL TRUE image...but it's hard to hold focus...at first until you train yourself. It's the same with our spirit...we use our natural eyes, head and thinking so much in the natural, but thinking about and processing the spiritual....we end up reconciling spiritual things with a natural mind and think we understand. It's when we finally SEE ourselves as SPIRIT and dead to flesh that we understand and see things truly from the perspective of spirit with our spirit. I'm....Sooorrrryyy...I did get sidetracked and I will "field the barrage of scripture and reason" that I'm sure will be coming my way....so pray for me ok...please. I love you and never want to argue...so if I do get cranky...just say Lance Cool It....brother. Really now.... Back to the words we use....Do you think when casting out devil, demons..or whatever we've decided we can call them today...do you think that they are moved by any authority other than that of the Living God? NO. That's why Mr Preacher man can yell, spit, slobber, command as loud as he wants, but the devil doesn't care! He's NOT intimidated by volume....I don't know why but some people think in a deliverance session they can get loud and "AUTHORITATIVE" in a voice they might use loudly to move their children to action. Ha! The devil laugh's at that...he doesn't care how tough you think you are or how much you can sound like a drill sergeant...he only cares when the AUTHORITY that represents the LIVING GOD speaks! That would be your SPIRIT MAN. Why do you think it's so important to walk in the spirit and be strong in spirit? It's because that's all the Devil is moved by/with. So, back to the 'words' used or pronunciation...does it matter? To man it does....to God or the devil....no. You know when you speak/say "in the name of Jesus" that the Devil doesn't just say to his minions......"alright guys he said the magic word..we gotta go", no the must be moved in warfare by Angels of God. You speak with your spirit to the devil...HE HEARS THAT! Why does he get it?..., because ONLY a child of God...can SPEAK that way to him, in the spirit and only CHILDREN of GOD, via our Father, can move angels to kick-butt if they, the devils don't leave! So understand, we don't have any authority except that give to us by Father and that authority is spoken in spirit. Consider....do you think a man who is dumb (who can't speak naturally) has no authority? Of course he does, if he's a Born again child of the LIVING GOD! What about the guy with a speech impediment? Too bad....says the devil...you missed a vowel....of course not. God doesn't move on behalf of the specific words, or the condition of our heart (i/e bad attitude today)...or what we've done good or bad today, or the audible words via flesh. I know someone personally who was attached and dumbstruck by the devil while sleeping and they, in their spirit (thinking in their mind), manifest in their spirit, rebuked the devil and he did flee! So enough of the trivial word games. God doesn't play games like this, nor should we.
Love you,
Lancelot
