janet256 - Cuero - Female - mother/songwriter - My name is Janet Bateman. I was born again back in 1983, served the Lord from 1983-1994, married in 1986, had 3 kids, 18, 15, 11, 2 boys and 1 girl. Divorced my husband in 2005. I was diagnosed with bi-polar and PTSD. I drank and did drugs when i could. I was a cutter and would burn myself on a continual basis. My therapist and doctors wanted to put me on psych meds for the rest of my life. I was hospitalized off and on for 2-3 years. On May 19, 2007 I cried out to God to kill me..to let me die! I had tried to commit suicide several times and was unsuccessful. When I cried out to Him He told me that He was not going to kill me but raise me up. He was going to heal my mind. He was going to heal my relationship with my ex-husband. He was going to cause me to be victorious in all areas of my life. I was not going to have to take medication for my mind...ever! He was going to use me to write many songs that would build up the Body of Christ and bring the lost to Him. The first thing He did was deliver me from a 1 and a half pack a day cigarette habit...immediately! He told me that if I adhered to His voice and obeyed Him that He would meet every need I had...physical, emotional, spiritual, material and financial. He has kept His promise in all areas that He said He would. My ex-husband and I are working on our relationship and God is in the middle of that. I have not been depressed since that day and have not thought of suicide ever. I have not smoked a cigarette since that day.I have not cut or burned myself since that day (totally delivered!). I have not walked in fear/paranoia since that day (I could not even go to the store to go shopping because I would have such bad panic attacks that I had to send my oldest son to do the shopping for me). God gave me the scripture 2 Tim 1:7 "God did not give us the spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind." I prayed this, spoke this, lived this every moment of everyday until I got it so much into my spirit man that it was a fact and a reality. I was unable to go into public places...movie theatres, malls, stores...etc. now I can go anywhere and there is no fear...and if it tries to creep in I just throw that scripture back at the enemy and the fear leaves as quickly as it came! There is real victory! The Lord has given me many songs to write...I now have 12 and every person who has heard them can't believe that I wrote them...I told them that God did it! He just falls on me while I play the keyboard and in moments a song is birthed! I have sung some of them at church and some of them have been used at churches in Houston, Texas USA. I asked the Lord to heal a relationship between a very good friend and me. There was no way that I could do it myself but the Lord did it. My friend had written a couple of songs (lyrics) but no music. She wanted to have music put to her songs and knew many musicians but they couldn't do it. I got a hold of her lyrics for 2 songs. The day that I got them the Lord moved on me for one of the songs and in 30 minutes gave me the music for it. I asked her if she wanted to hear it. She came over and started to cry as she heard me play and sing "her" song. She said that she didn't know that I could write music like that...I told her it was God! She looked at me funny and then heard some of my songs that the Lord gave me and she started to cry again. A week or 2 later the Lord gave me the music to her other song (both songs are Country Western). She heard it and is trying to find a way to get them recorded. This is how the Lord healed a friendship. I couldn't do it myself but it was definitely a miracle! The Lord is healing my finances, relationships, marriage, has healed my mind. My therapist talked to me when I told her what God did for me on May 19th. I told her everything that He did for me. She just cried and told me that I was going to write a book. I told her that I just want God and more of Him everyday. I also told her that He was going to heal my relationship with my ex and my friends. She could not believe the assurance I had and was very happy. She just cried some more. I know that the Lord has a calling on my life because He told me that He did. I just want Him and more of Him everyday! He is my life, He is my peace, He is my joy. God Bless You All!!

mycalling - Nicholasville - Male - Retired but going into the Ministry - I'm 61 years old and was called to become a healing minister at the age of 59. I was sure God had gotten it all wrong because I would not in my wildest guess ever consider myself becoming a minister and even more so, a healing minister. Since this calling came upon my life I have experienced things that only someone in close contact with God could really start to believe in. I was told by my wife of 37 years that I was too holy for her and she couldn't deal with all of this prayer and Holy Rolly stuff. Within three months I was served divorce papers and my whole world as I knew it began to crumble around me, but God told me not to worry because HE would now go ahead of me and give me victory in all things as he had his children in the Wilderness and that I would be delivered into my promise land. I followed his promptings and every thing he told me worked out to the exact time and day and I was brought to a small community in Kentucky. I neglected to say before that I was living in Leesburg, Florida when this started. The Lord guided me to where I'm living now and showed which home to purchase and what price to offer the builder and the rest is history. To make a long story short the Lord has told me that I am now in a wilderness and he is using that to make me into the person he want's me to become. I have seen personality changes that people who know me notice that I'm a totally different person than the one that they used to know. While in Fla. the Lord said I was to come to KY and to start a revival and it will be alikened to the Cane Ridge Revival of past years. Well since I have no seminary degrees nor do I like to speak in front of people, in fact I'm quite terrified,,,(That is used to be) because the Lord has changed my whole personality. I am Ordained by a church in Florida where I trained under a healing and deliverance minister. To continue now the Lord has began to open doors and he has told me I will now go forth and start the Greatest Revival in the United States and then start to evangelise the places he showed me during a dream which was a globe of the world and it had points of light shining all over the various countries. In another vision he showed the world with a band of Fire sweeping across the globe and explained that that was the Fire of Evangelism. Don't think I'm some sort of ego driven nut thinking that I'm going to save the world. That's not in my personality,, I would never consider such a thing but I do know that when God speaks to me those things do happen. The Lord has now opened some doors that I know will lead to all that I have told you,to manifest in my life. Praise God Gary

I have been raised Christian, pentecostal, and I prayed for a dream of Heaven when I was around 8, I had one, I got to see like what felt like to me the outskirts of heaven, it was beautiful, all green hilly, I saw the river in the distance, it was like crystal clear like you would be able to see the bottom, but it also had like a tinge of blue to it. I saw the heavenly city in the distance, and it was like GOLD and the biggest part had a HUGE rounded roof, like those turkish buildings. All the people I saw were dressed in white robes. I can't wait to go there I can't wait to see Jesus and thank Him face to face for being so faithful and forgiving me for all my sins. How can He be so beautiful!>!

By age 17 I maintained my position in the driver's seat of my life and steered straight into defiant sin. Spent years wrapped up in every addiction possible until at age 24 I was completely deteriorated, hopelessly lost, and ready to call it quits. God, in all His mercy saw otherwise in His divine will and delivered me by means of two faithful servants; my youth pastor and his wife whom I had not spoken to in 10 years. I came to repentance Oct. 9, 2005 and recieved Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. My life has not been the same since!! Not once has my salvation been in question, although I do struggle with sin I know that the work that has God has started in my life will be seen through to perfection in the day of Christ Jesus our Lord (Phil 1:6)!! I am hungry to know more of the Lord and recently I felt challenged to gain a deeper knowledge and relationship with Him and felt burdoned to do so by sharing Christ with others. I have experienced some aspects of spiritual warfare that are new to me which has made it all the more real that God's Word is TRUE and "the harvest is plenty but the workers are few".

John 17-21 - - Male - Painting Contractor - My name is John Edwards, from Hamilton, ON, Canada. I used to be an almost militant Human Secularist without believing i was preaching anything at all... I believed in the power of the individual, oh sure there was a God way up there somewhere, but I'm all I've got down here... through that period, I believe i was saved and protected by Jesus due to the daily prayers of my paternal grandfather, Chester Edwards, RIP, through a life of drugs, alcohol, reckless living, two major car accidents, (three broken vertibrae, 28 stitches in my head, a broken jaw, numerous cracked ribs and various other scars and wounds.) Through all of it I never required major surgery once nor ever lost the ability to walk and talk normally. (besides an extended period of prescribed bed rest) Praise be to God and thank you again Grandpa. As part of my early studies and explorations into spirituality I dabbled in the occult (channellling and reading cards) and at one point got really scared so I cried out to Jesus (1996) and the next day He answered me, all alone on a woods trail with tears rolling down my cheeks singing Amazing Grace (ya gotta love that Holy Spirit). I then walked alone with Jesus for about five years (standing on the red letters alone...) and learned that one man with God can be a majority. I did NOT want anything to do with the church yet was studying my bible and felt led by Spirit to explore all the stories/theories of other cultures and fields of study, from Buddhism to Tao, Jungian psychology to grail legends and from aboriginal creation stories to quantum physics and it's all led me to a knowledge based, experiential relationship with Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, One, and believe He came as the Only Begotten, our Older Brother, to demonstrate the authority that we are to walk in upon this earth Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. John 14:12 Back to the story, i decided to step into the church in 2001 but didn't exactly have the proper attitude (I think I'll try to teach these small town Baptists who I think Jesus really was...:-/) and ended up playing bass on the worship team at the Pentacostal church down the road... i wasn't exactly ready to come in under authority there either at that time, but it taught me alot about church dynamics and how legalism can stifle a congregation. I then fell away for a number of years yet always felt Jesus at my side and the Holy Spirit working in me. After losing two good friends in two months to drugs and alcohol, I was led to a Full Gospel church (Bapti-costal?) in the inner city Feb '06 that is led by a former biker couple, Ace and Joy Clarke, 30 year Christains who run a full service food bank across the street from the church. My heart (Jesus' heart) goes out to the children and addicts on our streets and I'm blessed to be able to pitch in where I can. For the first time in my life I'm really cleaning up my walk and am taking my faith to a new level inside the church. I am blessed to have a hard-working, loving, Spirit filled church family to worship and study with and am looking forward to stepping into music ministry any minute now (?) My real hope and aspiration is to see and experience an answer to Jesus' last prayer before the cross that we, the church would be one with Him who is one with One Most High, Our Father in heaven. This, I believe is our personal 'upper room experience', atonement, at One-ment if you will that God is leading each of us to in preparation for the returning Christ. ...when he shall appear, we shall be like him; 1Jo3:2 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. Dan12:3 We will shine if we're wise Like the brightest light in the skies

I was hooked on meth and went to Church one Sunday morning due to making a promise to go with my girlfriend at the time she's now my wife. But the altar call was made God told me that if I didn't go I would not have another chance to make things right with him again. I believe if I had left that church that morning without God I would have died on the way home. But I asked Jesus to be the Lord of my life that morning Went home flushed my dope down the toliet, busted my glass pipes, and trashed everything that I had that pretained to dope and have been free from it ever since. I go to a Baptist Church in Cedartown,Ga. And we have seen some great works of God. Praise God for his wonderful GRACE!!!
