GOD CHOOSES

There were only 11 people saved from death and hell, out of a total of untold thousands.
Noah and his family, and lot and his two daughters.

But when we look at this happening more closely, we understand that the total was really only 1.
Noah was declared to be "perfect in his generations, finding grace in the eyes of the Lord".
His family was saved because of His Righteousness.

Gen. 7:1
And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; (FOR THEEE HAVE I SEEN RIGHTEOUS) before me in this generation. read more »

Hearing The Voice of God

The greatest difficulty while attempting to read and study the word of God is, allowing ourselves to be led of the Holy Spirit into all understanding, rather than being led by the teachings of others, which are froth with assumption, prejudice, supposition, and tradition which leads into error.

The people being taught by the Scribes, and Pharisee were led further and further away from God and His teachings, where it was said by Jesus, they would both fall into the ditch.

The same is true today, if the voice being heard, comes from the Teachings and the Doctrines of man. read more »

Sin of the Believer

There are Two Types of Sin

1) The "Willful Sin" Paul speaks of in Hebrews 10

Heb 10:26
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

2) The "Incidental, or Occasional Sin" that we know, every believer is plagued with in their walk, this again would be something which Paul has spoken of in Rom. 4

Rom. 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. read more »

SIN ?

Are the acts of adultery, murder, stealing, homosexuality sin?

Or are these acts the consequence of sin?

Repentance, Ceasing from sin

As Christians, our saying "I am sorry", or saying "I will stop", is not in any way ( REPENTING ). The only thing you are doing, is saying that you have a desire to (REPENT).
When we are continually committing the same sin, doing the same things over and over that we would like to stop, we then have feelings of being defeated, unloved by God, or even abandoned by Him, because of our sin, that seemingly cannot be overcome.

But the truth of the matter is, we have not (REPENTED) at all, even though we have sought it with tears. read more »

LOVE IS ACTIVE

As "Faith without Works is dead" likewise "Love without Action is dead"
Love is not Neutral, is not Passive, Love is always of itself Expressive, Active.
Love must be given, in order for it to become Love, it cannot be static, non-committal.
Love cannot be identified if, there is no expression of it?

The First Century Church

When we take a good hard look at the Corinthian church, what we see is a first century church, that was still in the formation process. The believers which comprised this church at Corinth, were from all walks of life, but the one thing they all had in common besides the new birth experience which is found in Jesus Christ, was they were all BABES there were none which could be called elders. They also didn't have the Bible in which to study, they were Heathens, Pagans, and Jews. read more »

The Gospel ? ?

We hear all the time.
The Gospel of Christ.
Preach the Gospel of Christ.

What actually was Christ's Gospel?
When Jesus said
Mar 16:15
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
What was the Gospel He was referring to?

Is Sin A Choice

According to these verses, where is Choice in relation to sin?

If we despise the commandment of the Lord, sin is at the door, but we are no longer under the law, the Law was fulfilled by Jesus Christ, the only person who ever did or could fulfill the law, that is why he has become our Savior, and the Righteous the fulfillment of the law has been written on our hearts. We have become the Righteousness of God through Christ.

Rom 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. read more »

Christians and Government

This has been written primarily for those of the United States.
But God has shown me, "THIS WORD", is for all Christians everywhere, no matter what Country they might live, because "ALL THE GOVERNMENTS OF THE WORLD ARE CORRUPT"

Is the Government of The United States, a Government Of, BY and For the People?
Or is it, The Government of the People that can "BUY" it?

The Lobbyists of this Country, have effectively taken the "VOTE" away from the Individual. read more »

CALVIN: Wrong from the beginning

Instead of fighting over, arguing about, or just trying to disprove the Doctrines put forward by John Calvin, why not look at the errors he made when he formulated those Doctrines. read more »

IN NEED OF HELP

A Christian couple I have been counseling, have asked me some questions, that has made it very difficult for me to give them a reasonable answer.
This is the issue at hand, they have had one child with absolutely no problem, but have not been able to have another. It has now been over 4 yrs.

They come with this scripture.
Psa 127:3
Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

The question they ask is.
We are Christians, we love children, we want to have more. read more »

Thus saith the Lord

Thus saith the Lord, unto the Church

You continually equate yourselves with My chosen people Israel. You also claim all of the blessings I bestowed upon them.
Blessing was only the first part of what I always said to Israel. You also have to remember the curses.
You do now constitute My chosen people, by promise to My servant Abraham, by accepting the Messiah I sent to Israel.
I have blinded them for a season, that My grace would shine on all men. read more »

Christian role in Government

We as Christians declare our undying loyalty, love and allegiance to God.
But every time it comes to placing our supposed Faith in the one true God, the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and the Creator of the Universe, we opt out on our Faith, by once again placing Our Faith in the power of the Political Party of "OUR" choice, the Candidate of that chosen Political Party, and the Voting Booth. read more »

"REPENTANCE" more than you think

As Christians there is the need to understand, by our saying I am are sorry, or saying I will stop, that this is not in any way ( REPENTING ). The only thing you are doing, is saying that you have a desire to (REPENT).
When we are continually committing the same sin, doing the same things over, and over that we want to stop. We then have feelings of being defeated, unloved by God, or even abandoned by Him, because of our sin, that seemingly cannot be overcome.
But the truth of the matter is, we have not (REPENTED) yet, even though we have sought it with tears. read more »

Forgiveness

Your forgiveness of someone that has wronged you, no matter what the wrong may have been, is not dependent on how you feel about the situation, or the person involved.
It is something to be done out of obedience.
It is all about how GOD feels, not you, He said to pray, He said to forgive.
Why would God require this of us, knowing we are emotional creatures, controlled by our feelings, passions?
There is what is called the many fold purpose of God.
In this circumstance, a two fold purpose, for our praying in a forgiveness type of situation. read more »

THE END TIME GENERATION ??

The Generation of the Time of the End, who are they?

In light of the following scriptures, which generation were first John the Baptist, then Jesus speaking of?

John the Baptist first spoke, about the wrath to come.
Just what wrath was he speaking of which was to come, why was his warning them of this wrath so important?

JOHN:
Matt.3:7
But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, (O GENERATION OF VIPERS), who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

ELECTIONS OF MEN

We find Greece in the 5th.- 4th. centuries BC developed a form of governing which is called Democracy, (which has the literal meaning of rule by the people). But it should be noted, this was accomplished by the drawing of lots for those that would be serving in the Government. Elections as we know them today, were nonexistent until what could be truly called an elected Government, which would be the United States Democracy.
The United States Constitution, being adopted in 1788, provided the means for an elected government. read more »
