Persevere

Phil 4:12-13 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Evangelical calling?

For a while now I've wondered what my "calling" is. Reading Michael Fackerell's testimony for the first time I am wondering if I am called to be an evangelist as well. As a few of you know I live in a Roman Catholic family. A fire in my heart wants to win the lost souls from the Roman Catholic religion...It makes a lot of sense to me if that's what God intends, but I'm not completely sure about it.
Please, whoever reads this, could you say a prayer for the Lord to make that known to me if it's his will?

Unity in peace - Just a reminder

1 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

Inferior

Today I am feeling a bit inferior. I have big trouble understanding scripture sometimes, and think logically 50% of the time. Might have issues hearing God's voice.
Lord forgive me of my doubt and demolish the principalities and powers of darkness.

Testimony of baptism, blessed and filled.

Just wanted to share with everyone a short testimony.

I was baptized today and I was really excited to show my devotion to our Lord.

It was a few hours ago at the Arkansas river a short walk from my house.
Walkers were watching and we didn't care. Thought it would be something good for them to see. John thought that we needed witnesses for a baptism but I wasn't really sure. I know there isn't a formula. Regardless they were there! read more »

Disobedience -

Wise and foolish builders

Recently started reading Matthew. I wanted to remind everyone of Jesus' parable about builders.
Read the Beatitudes of Christ again and remember to practice everything he taught.
We all need to have a STRONG foundation and rock to build upon.
- Be a good example.
- Remember to practice the commandments
- Do not be angry with ANYONE. Hold your tongue.
- Say "no!" to lustful thoughts. Don't put yourself in the situation to provoke lustful thoughts.
- Don't cause your wife to become and adulteress.
- oaths - let no be no and yes be yes. Nothing further, that comes from the evil one. read more »

Be thankful!

I pray that the holy spirit of God shows everyone who reads this that Jesus has given us the greatest chance mankind has seen to be with God the father. God the father is one tough cookie! HE is so gracious to give us his son. THANK GOD!

I have been up for the past few nights reading genesis / exodus / leviticus.
I just have to say that God has shown me how tough he has been on our ancestors.

Roller Coaster

I pray that God touches the people who read this and that the holy spirit works through me to help fellow brothers and sisters.

The last passed week has been one big roller coaster. God remains the victor!
