The Salvation Experience

A thought occurred to me today and I found myself asking some of the Christians I know about their salvation experiance..

Their Born Again moment; the experiance that they became Born Again.

As short of an answer as possible and not utilizing scripture. I'm more interested in a experiential answer from you,- not opinion or debate.

Friends of Jesus;

“So He said to them, 'This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.' Mark 9:29

It's not strange that our “atheist” friend (actually I have a hunch he is Gnostic) finds prayer abhorrent. Of course he would because it is one of the most powerful weapons that we have in our arsenal.

“Please don't pray for me...”?
That statement alone has just proven to us how powerful prayer is!

Hi

I could sure use some prayers right now – so I'm here asking the Lord to guide you; (who ever you might be) to pray in the Spirit and just lift me up – as I seek and trust Him to Guide me.

I prayed not very long ago that the Lord would strengthen my Faith in Him in very specific areas of my life. In a short period of time (days and hours) events and circumstances changed very drastically in my life.

Forgive my vagueness – I just NEED to know that God is in control and He does hear me.

Blasphemy Against the Holy Spirit

As defined in Wayne Grudem's 'Systematic Theology'

“The unusually malicious, willful rejection and slander against the Holy Spirit's work attesting to Christ, and attributing that work to Satan.”

It's the work of the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus Christ to us as individual Believer's. What was happening in Matthew Chapter 12 when the Pharisees and Sadducees were Speaking out and openly declaring the Works of God (The Holy Spirit) to actually be works of Satan, Was dangerously preposterous and confusing. read more »

I'm taking a new course in my life right now that I think the Lord has blessed me with but as yet I still remain uncertain.

I've often considered writing fiction (science fiction - suspense - some may call it "fantasy" but I hate that term).

It's a nervouse step because to do it actively I have to really allow myself more down time - actually it feels like unproductive time. read more »

I'm am not a blogger type...  Frankly I have a hard time seeing millions offering relatively mundane "dialog" and "on-going"s as normal human behavior.

Though I kinda suspect it's not unlike the art of "tagging" railroad cars and city walls..  One single individual attempting to yell to an unseen audience in a vast universe that "I EXIST DARN-IT!"
