How People Become False Prophets

Jesus told us to watch out for false prophets. If they were powerless to deceive born again Christians, I don't think Jesus would have told us to "take heed". In this article, I show how true Christians can become false prophets. The Bible clearly shows that there are men who start off hearing and obeying the LORD God, who end up as soothsayers and destroyers of God's people. The New Testament warns us in 2 Peter 2 and the Book of Jude to watch out for arrogant, money loving preachers. Paul warned us against the times when people would heap up teachers who tell them what their itching ears want to hear. You won't hear too many expositions of these passages on Christian TV today. What a pity, they were never more needed.

The Brave Friendship of God

Oh, the bravery of God in trusting us! Do you say, "But He has been unwise to choose me, because there is nothing good in me and I have no value"? That is exactly why He chose you. As long as you think that you are of value to Him He cannot choose you, because you have purposes of your own to serve. But if you will allow Him to take you to the end of your own self-sufficiency, then He can choose you to go with Him "to Jerusalem" ( Luke 18:31 ). And that will mean the fulfillment of purposes which He does not discuss with you.

Balanced Response

I remember a godly, prayerful old woman who was in our church in the early 80s who has now gone on to be with the Lord who sometimes laughed to herself pleasantly and unobtrusively, after being prayed for.

I also remember being alone praying in my room, when I was a teenager, in the early 80s. I had come home from school burdened to pray for some unsaved fellow-students. After interceding for a while, I got a note of victory in my spirit, and began to laugh.

Manipulation - BEWARE 'AUTHENTICATORS'

What one thing would convince you that these revivals are of God? What would deflect your concerns or turn away your challenge? Watch closely as many of the ministers at these revivals know just what to say to dampen your concerns or get you off track with your challenging them and others.

Another Look at Daniel's Prophecy: "Knowledge Shall Be Increased"

Does the Book of Daniel really prophesy an end-time increase in international travel and scientific discovery?

Daniel was told, "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased".

"...many shall run to and fro..."

But could it mean many shall run with, act on, PROPHETIC REVELATION - rather than international air travel?

"...knowledge shall be increased"

Could it mean the KNOWLEDGE OF GOD shall be increased - rather than scientific discovery?

Jesus is still Lord

It is a fact, whether or not we choose to submit to His Lordship in our lives. He is appointed to rule over all things. (1Co 15:25)
We must not think that Jesus is empowered by our submission to Him. Rather, it is us who are empowered by Him to do the will of the Father.
Through our surrender, Jesus is able to transform us into those who are able to be used for His work.

A movement too big to be derailed?

When you read church history, beginning from the time of the apostles and on through the rise of the institutional church, the Dark Ages, the Reformation, the Revival moments and the pentecostal/charismatic movements, it becomes very clear that Satan has always been trying to derail the Church of God.

It is the Church which is the primary object of God's love, and therefore the primary object of Satan's hatred.

Luciferianism-religion of choice for the global power elite.

“The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendour, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. So if you worship me, it will all be yours.”” LK4:5-7 (NIV)

This account of Jesus’ temptation whilst in the wilderness has been speaking to me recently.
The question which has arisen is this.

Was Jesus the first man to be offered this deal?
And was He the last?

I believe that the answer to this is a definite NO!

If America Bombs Iran

It seems a lot of people are predicting America will strike Iran → Iran will strike Israel → Israel will nuke Iran → sparking global nuclear war with muslims, Russia & China against America and Israel, bringing human civilization to an end. But someone sent me an interesting study about, "Can America Survive an All-out Nuclear Attack?" The answer is yes. And here's the reason:
