Bill Wiese - 23 minutes in hell

Bill Wiese, a real estate agent testifies of the experience he had in hell out of his body. Jesus took him to hell and back so he could testify of what is there.

Bill is a realtor, a real estate agent. As such, he doesn't need to sell religious materials to have a good income. Bill doesn't sell his testimony as far as I can see. He encourages people to copy it, burn CDs with it and give it to their friends. If you are interested, some links for that are here. I always appreciate it when people do not try to make money out of the revelations they claim to have from the Lord.

Bill's testimony points to a terrifying reality awaiting those who do not know the Savior. The fact that the youtube comments on the page are so hostile indicate to me how far gone many people are in the United States of America, how twisted and anti-Christ so many people have become.

This is the second part of the testimony.

This is the third part of the testimony, with his wife corroborating the story.

I suppose it was inevitable

I suppose it was inevitable that, with a bestselling book describing an author's "90 Minutes in Heaven," one would soon follow detailing a journey to hell. Sure enough, Bill Wiese follows Don Piper's 90 Minutes in Heaven with his own 23 Minutes in Hell. And interestingly, if you visit Amazon.com you'll see that you can get a deal if you buy both of these books together. Clearly they are being read and appreciated by the same audience.

Wiese's story is simple. One night, while sleeping, he was transported to hell. There God showed him hell in all its horror and terror. He was thrown into a barred cell, he was abused by demons, he was shown lakes of fire, and he saw people suffering torment. After a brief visit with Jesus, he was transported back to earth in order to tell people that Jesus is returning soon and to assure them that hell is a real place (and one that exists in the center of the earth, apparently). Wiese's hell seems to be equally influenced by the works of Ray Comfort, Mary Baxter and Gary Larson. That is to say it is at times biblically accurate, at times patently unbiblical, and at times near-comical.

There are many things that can be said about this book from the perspectives of literature and theology. I will focus on just one under each heading. In terms of literature, there is little that can be said. This book is just plain bad. It is poorly written and seems cobbled together. It is something of a chore to read, though it is blessedly short and, unlike hell, the punishment does not last for long. I have read worse, of course, but there is no doubt that this is not a well-written book.

My foremost concern involves theology. And here I want to point to the error that also plagued Don Piper's 90 Minutes in Heaven. It regards the necessity of such visitations. Don Piper travels the world now under the banner of "The Minister of Hope." He brings hope by telling people that he has been to heaven and can attest that it is a real place. Bill Wiese now shares his message that hell is also real and is a real place (a really bad place). Yet in the Bible I find no reason to believe that God would want or need people to carry this kind of message based on their own experiences. God has given us the Bible precisely so we do not need such people! When a man travels around carrying a message like this one, he implicitly denies that the Bible is warning enough; his ministry indicates that he feels we need something more than "merely" the Bible in order to warn people of the joy to come to those who believe and the wrath to come for those who do not. These messengers, perhaps inadvertently, deny the uniqueness and the sufficiency of the Bible. If people will not believe the words of God as given in Scripture, why should or would they believe the fanciful words of a mere man?

All this is not to say that 23 Minutes in Hell does not have any redeeming qualities. The author shares many things about hell that are true. He often quotes excellent teachers (and ones who would be less than thrilled, I'm sure, to see their names printed inside this book!). He does not downplay the horrific nature of hell or, as do so many today, attempt to deny its reality. However, one thing that is conspicuous by its absence is any mention of hell being the presence of God in His wrath. Wiese describes it as a place where people are punished for not believing in Jesus; yet the punishments are inflicted by demons and fire rather than by God Himself. From the Bible it seems clear that God is the one who is active in hell and that He punishes both humans and demons. If Wiese does downplay the awfulness of hell, it would be right here.

Like 90 Minutes in Heaven, this book is plagued with theological errors and, also like Piper's effort, it does not deserve a place in anyone's library. Take a pass on it!

It was about 2 years ago. One

It was about 2 years ago. One elderly man in my church experienced hell and heaven when he almost became a vegetable, and he was a non-believer! It happened after his daughter attended the church for a while. When the doctor told the daughter and her family that her dad may be brain dead after an operation, she was shocked and the whole family cried sorrowfully except her, she went somewhere to pray, and she phoned her church leaders and friends to pray together with her. After the operation, when the dad was still in coma and the family and a nurse were around him, suddenly he tried to lift up his shaky hand and it looks like he was trying to write something. The nurse passed him a pen and paper, and he wrote on the paper carried by the nurse in the air with one word "Jesus", and then he went unconscious again.

Amazingly, when he woke up again a day later, he was almost 100% recovered, he was able to recognise the family members immediately. When they asked him what happened when he wrote "Jesus" on the paper, he recalled his memory and told them what actually happened when he was in coma. He said he felt that his spirit was taken out from his body to a place where there are lots of people crying and being tormented, and when he was walking to the direction of that place, suddenly someone called him to come back, and then his spirit was taken to a place where it's like the most beautiful place that he has ever been to, full with joy and peace. And shortly after that, his spirit was taken back into his body in the ward, and then he saw this person sitting beside his bed, he couldn't see his face as he was very bright. The dad asked him who he was, the person then held his hand and lifted it up in the air, and wrote "Jesus" on the paper being carried by the nurse. Then Jesus left him. The whole family and the nurse were the witnesses of this incident, of course they did not see Jesus, but they all were around when he was writing on the paper!

After this incident, the dad and the whole family gave their lives to God and became witnesses of many of their relatives and friends, and many of them come to know God. When the daughter witnessed to the church, we were very touched by the testimony and praised God for His faithfulness. I see the whole family attending church every Sunday until now. They did not write a book or go around the country to witness, but they are sharing this mainly to friends and people coming to church. I see the experience is very similar to Bill Wiese's, the only differences are that the father was a non-believer, he doesn't know how to preach, he can't quote any Bible verses, and he can't write books.

I believe in miracles, and I believe God performs miracles in people to bring more people into His kingdom. In both cases the outcome is for this purpose - people's faith being strengthened, non-believers turning to Christ, His kingdom is being advanced. Sometimes Christians can be too rigid, judgemental and cynical, let's allow the Holy Spirit to discern, hold on to the faith and test the spirits. They all acknowledges Jesus Christ is the Saviour and our Lord.

Heb 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

1John 4:1-3
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

God bless,
Ken

The Vision of CALVARY'S CROSS by Bobby Conner

The warm sunlight was softly spilling through the window into my office as I forced my attention away from the sweet spring day. Sitting in my chair, I brought my focus back to my opened Bible and an all-too-clean notepad which were resting on the deep, rich polished desk. I was in the process of preparing preaching notes on the subject of the cross of Christ. I had spoken on this subject many times before, but now I deeply desired something much fresher. I was not prepared for what was about to happen. My tranquil setting was about to change in a radical way. Pushing my chair forward, getting closer to the Scripture and my note paper, I began to pray, asking the Spirit of God to make the message of the cross real. I did not want to use just a bunch of words. I wanted the cross to be more than a mere message. I longed for people to hear the Words of Life. I wanted it to be something powerful that would transform our lives. So I began my prayer from a hungry heart.

Suddenly without warning, faster than the speed of light, I was no longer sitting comfortably at my study. I was being carried by the Spirit of God through time and space. As Paul stated in the Scriptures, if I was in the body or out of the body I do not know. Soon, I was set down in the busy streets of Jerusalem. I could hear the sounds of a mob of people, I could feel an evil excitement in the air that made my spirit very uncomfortable. I was standing in a great crowd of people. Looking into their faces, I noticed that some were filled with sincere sadness and others with an evil grin. The next thing I knew I was shoved aside by a big Roman soldier, who cursed at me and yelled "get out of the way!" Then I looked and saw what the crowd had been waiting for, Jesus bearing His cross. I could not believe my eyes. Never had I seen such a terrible sight. His entire face was covered with clotted, dried blood from wounds caused by a crown of thorns, which looked more like razor-sharp spikes driven into His head. Each time His heart would beat, fresh dark blue-red blood would spurt between the spikes and thorns, running down His forehead and into His eyes, dripping to His chest and onto the dusty street. My mind was whirling. I thought "this can't be happening, this happened years before." At that moment our eyes met, however, and I knew without a doubt, it was real. Somehow, I had been carried to the crucifixion!

It was no dream; I was there.

Stunned, I staggered alongside the crowd, too shocked to speak, watching as Jesus was stumbling under the weight of the heavy cross. The hot winds blowing dust from the street blew open the tears in His bloodstained clothes and I caught a glimpse of the wounds on His back and shoulders, deep flesh torn gaping open. For a long time we made our way up the street path outside the city wall. At long last we came to the top of the Hill of the Skull. The mob stirred with excitement when the Lord was thrown down hard to the ground. Without a struggle He stretched out His arms. The air itself was so thick with the oppressing demon spirits it was hard to breathe. The smell of blood and body fluids was so strong that I was choking: and I could smell the strong stinking aroma of some type of liquor, or cheap ale, coming from the soldiers. I heard the heavy thud of the hammer as it struck the spikes going into His hands and feet. The cross was lifted up very roughly and dropped in the hole. I heard a deep groan coming from the Lord's throat, as the entire weight of His body came against the spikes. I will never forget the sounds, sights, and smells of this moment. It seemed as if time had stopped. I don't know how long I was there; it seemed as if it was hours. This was a place of no mercy! Yet the most merciful act was being accomplished. I will never forget the paradox of feelings. The Sinless and Guiltless dying as one guilty. The Perfect being spoiled by the spear and ravaged by the cross. The Righteous dying for the rebellious. As I lifted my eyes to behold Christ on the cross, the pain upon His face was more than my heart could bear; all the strength left my legs, and I felt my body thud against the ground. I struggled to get to my knees. Lifting my eyes, I again forced myself to behold the Lamb. I know now the meaning of the prophet's words, "And when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him" (Isaiah 53:2). I can testify that His face was more disfigured than any I have ever seen. The pain that Jesus went through was much more than the cross. It was beyond any human words to describe. His flesh was a pale blue as He hung suspended between Heaven and earth making atonement for sinners such as I. At that moment I cannot begin to describe how horrible a sinner I knew I was. The words of the song came flooding into my heart. "When I survey the wondrous Cross on which the Prince of Glory died, my richest gains I count but loss and pour contempt on all my pride." I could see the Lord as He struggled beneath the pain of the cross, and as He lifted His weight and breathed in to speak these words, "Father, forgive them for they don't know what they are doing" (Luke 23:34).

Later, I heard the most horrible cry come from the parched, swollen, bleeding lips of our Lord...this cry still rings in my ears to this very hour: "My God! My God! Why have You forsaken Me?" (Matthew 27:46). This question came from the very soul of the Son of God. For the first time in all of eternity, the Son and the Father are separated. This is the very first time Christ has ever referred to God other than Father. Why? Because now Christ has become what we are, He has taken upon Himself our sins. The Scripture states that God is of a purer eye than to look upon sin, so Father God turns His back to His Son, and Christ is forsaken of His Father. This is the pain that He had asked to be removed in the garden when He prayed "let this cup pass from Me" (Matthew 26:39). He could not bear to think of Himself being abandoned by His Father. At this moment Christ is not dying as a Son, but rather as a sinner. As this happened, His heart was crushed. As the Psalmist prophesied: "My heart is like wax, it has melted within Me" (Psalm 22:14). Then with a loud cry Christ Jesus said "Father into Your hands I commit My Spirit" (Luke 23:46), and His lifeless head falls limp upon His chest. The entire earth is spinning and shaking; there is this terrible darkness everywhere. I hear screams coming from the darkness, and suddenly I am aware that the cry is coming from my own lips. I am no longer at the foot of the cross, I am back in my office; but the cry and scream still echoes in my ears. My entire body is shaking and trembling.

(The Vision Ends)

RITUAL OR RELATIONSHIP
I am not able to share all that I saw and experienced at this time, but I can tell you I will never be the same. And I am more sure now than ever before, the preaching of the cross is the power of God unto salvation. The Scripture states: "For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect" (1 Corinthians 1:17). The Cross of Christ is not a trite trinket or some sentimental ceremonial jewelry, to be worn about our neck; but rather the cross is the very essence of the loving heart of Father God reaching out to fallen mankind. Mankind's only
hope of deliverance from the grasp and guilt of sin is the finished work of Christ upon the cross. God is not requesting man to embrace a mere ritual, but rather to enter into a lasting relationship. This can only be accomplished through the cross of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

THE CROSS WAS BY DIVINE DESIGN

The Gospel is that "Christ Jesus died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried; and that
He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Notice the term "according to the Scriptures." The sacrifice of Christ for our sin upon the cross was by divine design. The death of Christ
upon the cross was neither accidental nor arbitrary. Jesus declared "For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world" (John 18:37). The gospels tell us that the Lord Jesus spoke of the cross before His death (Matthew 10:38; Mark 10:21; Luke 14:27). The sacrifice of Christ upon the cross for sinful mankind is the greatest example of God's love. The Scriptures declare "Greater love has no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friend" (John 15:13). That is exactly what Jesus did for us. He willingly came into
this world to give His life a ransom to redeem fallen man. Paul says: "Christ died for the ungodly...He demonstrates His own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:6-7). We are guilty and deserve the judgment of God, but God so loved us that He was willing to let His Son become sin for us, so that we, by accepting Him as our personal Lord and Savior, can be freed from sin's punishment. None can fail to see that in the teaching of the New Testament, Christ is set forth as taking the place of the sinner
in His death. The death of Jesus upon Calvary's cross was vicarious, which means Christ took our place of death and punishment. Every blessing of salvation is imputed to the believer by the substitutionary death of Christ. "Him who knew no sin was made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" (2 Corinthians 5:21). The cross, and the preaching of the cross, is the very core, and center of Christianity. Jesus said, "And if I be lifted up I will draw all men unto Me" (John 12:32). May God help us to boldly proclaim the transforming message of the cross of Christ.

Prophecy Plus: Bill Wiese 23 Minutes in Hell

Wednesday, March 19, 2008
Bill Wiese 23 Minutes in Hell
I checked into Bill Wiese and his book, 23 Minutes in Hell. It only took a few minutes to discover that he has been involved in the Prophetic Movement for over a decade at the very least and works closely in ministry with Mike Bickle--one of Kansas City Prophets --and Bickle's organization IHOP, Bickle not only is well known as a leader within prophetic circles but also heavily promotes mystical, contemplative spirituality.

Wiese's experience in hell was an "out of body experience"--a very coveted experience by those within prophetic circles. They teach each other how to have them. Out of body experiences, astral projection, are common among New Agers and Shamans--nothing new here--totally occult, although prophetic folk commonly reference Paul's experience of being caught up to the third Heaven as a biblical basis for that particular occult experience.

Much of Wiese's experience is biblically questionable, suggesting that Satan rules in hell. The Bible teaches no
such concept.

Although Wiese references a lot of scripture in detailing his experience, anyone joining with him in ministry [by using / posting his testimony, etc.] would be leading people straight into the arms of the heretical, apostate Prophetic Movement which preaches another gospel, and is deceiving untold numbers of people into believing they are saved when in reality, they are not being drawn to the real Jesus, but to the signs and lying
wonders which characterize prophetic ministry, and are adopting a "spirituality"--a form of godliness--which cannot save. It is frightening to think how many believers are experiencing paradigm shifts due to whoring after
signs and lying wonders and are becoming part of the great falling away the Bible predicted would happen in these last days.

In summary, my recommendation is to stay away from any and all promotion of Bill Wiese and his experience of being astrally projected into hell.

Wiese, Hell, IHOP and Astral Projection - Jason

Jason:

What information do you have that Bill Wiese works closely with the ministry of Mike Bickle? I don't mean now as a guest speaker (if he is), I mean in the last 10 years as you claim or were you claiming he's been in prophetic circles for over a decade? What affiliation does he have with IHOP?

What information do you have that would suggest Mike Bickle and IHOP promote mystical and contemplative spiritually? What are you calling "contemplative spiritually"? Are you referring to the Rick Joyner's of the world? John Paul Jackson?

What causes you concern that Bill Wiese claims "satan rules hell"? Sounds right to me.

How does his testimony lead to preaching "another gospel" and people being fooled into a false salvation?

I believe Bill's testimony. I find your conclusions to be very presumptuous. However, this is a discussion website and my comment is not hostile. I may very well be wrong and fooled. I am aware of the IHOP folks. Been there numerous times. Met Bickle and others. I no longer associate with them but this is due to their allowance and continued reverence of false prophet/pervert Bob Jones.

Maybe you can answer the above questions to help me understand why this was an astrayal projection into hell and not an end times warning by the Lord. However, keep in mind that I do not believe this is a 100% accurate testimony. I believe this is as accurate as Bill can recall under the circumstances. If true, this was a startling event and the human mind does not comprehend the spirit realm and an atmosphere like hell. It had to be an overwhelming to him and for him to testify too.

David

Bob Jones a false prophet?

David:

How do you know that Bob Jones is a false prophet/pervert. According to the Spirit Lessons website, he is not. They promote his visions. What information do you have concerning Bob Jones?

Jason

A Deceptive Man

Would you want your mother or wife to get naked before Bob Jones so that he could hear from the Lord????He did this stating that the women were naked before the Lord......Do a google search on him and then determine for yourself about this man....When it comes to web sites there will be some sites that endorse him since they also endorse heresies and false prophets...One must use discernment on the web, reading Christian books, watching Christian tv and in all paths of the Christian walk....

Bob Jones today

Obviously its a horrible thing that he did - he abused his position of power and trust. But has he not repented of that? Should we still be bringing it up if he has? I don't know where that issue stands. What is more important is the truthfulness or otherwise of his ministry today.

What concerns me more about Bob Jones is his endorsement for Lakeland and not only that - but a kind of track record of saying things in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that were not right. Some prophecies did not come to pass, other statements were bizarre and unbiblical. These "prophets" would keep disagreeing about things like coming judgments on California etc. And all kinds of strange pronouncements were made about the future that often did not come to pass.

At the same time, they showed an uncanny ability to "know things" in the present, and this means that either the Holy Spirit had gifted them or they were/are listening to familiar spirits.

In view of the doubtfulness and impurity of these "prophets", as well as their false teachings I think it is wise for people to just ignore them. Don't send them money, don't buy their teachings, don't pay to go to their conferences. Its like paying for the right to play spiritual russian roulette. You would be better off just waiting before the Lord yourself, reading and meditating on the Word of God, than seeking a personal prophecy from any of these characters. Lots of people were shipwrecked in their faith by seeking out personal prophecies from these guys.

Wiese, Hell, IHOP and Astral Projection - David

David:

I forgot to mention in my comment that these claims are not from me. I coppied them off of a website named Prophecy Plus, as I posted. So I don't know where this person is getting these ideas. And according to you, this
person who wrote this doesn't know what he or she is talking about, I don't know, I simply just coppied it off of their website.

To prove that I did coppy it, I will post the website.

www.prophecyplus.blogspot.com/2008/03/bill-wiese-23-minutes-in-hell.html

So you do understand that I can't answer your questions, because this statement didn't come from me, you will have to email the people at the website to get your answers.

If you don't believe these claims, then I suggest you read my first comment which again is not from me but from David J. Stewart, I think he knows what he is talking about.

Jason

Jason - Wiese, Hell, IHOP, and the rest

Jason:

I appreciate your honesty that you deferred to another commentary source. Thank you. You are honest.

Ok.....look......you and I are humans and we are both easily persuaded by other men, right? Sure. It happens. I know I am. No need to be ashamed. I find others testimonies intriguing. However, I don't want to endorse one if it is fabricated.

What I want you to do is look at the big picture. What does Bill Wiese gain out of this "claimed experience" and how does it effect others? What is the end result? Look at the end result. How does his testimony effect you?

Ok....worst case seniaro.... Bill sells books. He's a liar. Ok..so he makes a few bucks. This is the worst. But......Did you watch him? Does he appear insincere to you? Is he concerned of your salvation? Does he have a warning to you?

What if what he claims happened actually happened? Woo..think on that one? How many people who will not listen to the gospel message are throttled by his description of hell? You'll be surprised. It hits hard.

Be careful not to judge these kinds of events. They will not always line up 100% with scripture. It is hard for one who goes thru this to tell us accurately what all took place.

There are people out there who love to rip and tear at these testimonies. The "Word" people who are arrogant, haughty and full of pride because they know God's word and nobody can go to heaven or hell without them pickin and punchin at them for their testimony.

Just take the testimony and tuck it in your mind and over time let God deal with you on it. If it don't pan out...forget it.
No big deal.

David.

Satan Ruling in Hell

Biblically speaking, Satan rules the dark kingdom. Some are in Hell (Tartaroo- Gr) reserved for judgment. I do not imagine Satan ruling over these POWS so to speak.

Isa 14:5 The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.Isa 14:6 He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.Isa 14:7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.Isa 14:8 Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.

Isa 14:9 Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. Isa 14:10 All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us? Isa 14:11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.

Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Isa 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. Isa 14:16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms?

Eze 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

Eze 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

Eze 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.Eze 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Eze 28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
Eze 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

Lucifer will be judged and brought to ashes. Why is that rarely spoken? It appears that Satan has given himself a raise in status even in the Christian Church. He will not rule in Hell, he will be cast into hell fire reserved for the devil and his angels. That is what the Bible says.

Blessings and Peace,
Timothy

I have to trust a Christian

My name is Mike Roberts. I am 33 years old. I am a Christian. This is my personal story and comments on 23 Minutes in Hell by Bill Wiese.

My wife bought this book a while back, and I took it to work
today. I was curious. I have obviously heard of the book, but I had never read it. I spent my whole lunch hour reading
it.

I was floored at what I was reading.

I believe him. I have to trust that a man who has belonged to the Lord since 1970 is telling the truth, and what he says is true and he literally experienced hell -- and it is exactly as the Bible describes it. He uses Scripture throughout his book to back up his claims. My sister went and heard him speak and she said that he was a man who could
not ignore the burden that was put upon his heart, and that he knew the Bible like the back of his hand, and backed up his experience with the Word of God.

There is so much 'new age' theology that wants us to kind of... Well, forget about hell. At least that has been what I
have seen more often than I'd like to. It is not comfortable. It is not pleasant. But it is real, and it is where people will spend their eternal lives if they do not accept Jesus Christ.

I know that a lot of people probably don't believe Bill -- it is, by most standards, an unbelievable story. But, are we
to put God in a box and think that He can't or won't do such
things to wake up the world? I have read some stuff online about Bill, and there is a good handful of Christians that feel he is a kook. I find that sad, because it is judging him in a way that we are not called to do. We are to use discernment in such matters, but do we do that at the cost of judging another person so harshly that we call into question their relationship with God?

I felt deeply convicted as I read this book, and I felt deep
terror. It made me think of people I love who have not accepted Christ and what awaits them after death. It made me
worry for myself. I never felt the Holy Spirit telling me that this man was making this up. What I did feel was fear, which is something that I have felt lately. I feel that I am
a good husband, I have a decent job, I pay my bills and I don't break any laws. Yet, I know that I am a wretched sinner and without Christ I am nothing. I felt this fear because I know in my heart through the Holy Spirit that I have not given Christ anything.

Proverbs 1:7 says that, "FEAR OF THE LORD IS THE BEGINNING TO WISDOM."

I believe that. Before, I was trying to be a Christian on my
own terms, using God like a vending machine. Now, I see that
if I don't begin to live a life that is full of repentance and seeking Christ, I will be lost as well. My heart needs to be worked on, and I believe Christ has started that work in me.

I believe Bill Wiese's book is a tool that He is using. God
knows the number of His children that have come to Him through this book and Bill's story. It is amazing and I commend him for sharing his experience, as horrific and dreadful that it may be. If only some of us could have the same boldness for Christ and not fear that we will be offending others. Mainly I say this from my own experience, but I see it in others as well.

My wife's aunt was killed by a drunk driver on December 22. At her funeral, our pastor gave the sermon. It had little to
do with my wife's aunt, but it had everything to do with the
Lord, as she would have wanted it that way. Before my pastor
spoke, he said something very profound: The TRUTH OFFENDS some people. I remember walking out of the service and hearing my mother-in-law say that she felt he took advantage
of the situation. All our pastor did was speak of the Love and the beautiful gift of salvation offered to us by God through Christ. I am sure many other people felt the same way.

The response of some people to this book is telling to me. 2,000 years ago, people did not want to believe Christ, either. Now, I am not equating Bill Wiese with Christ, so please don't get confused. What I am saying is that most people, even us Christians, want to put God in a box. Just as Jesus wasn't believed by the majority 2,000 years ago, many people are still refusing the miracles that God does today, and I find that sad.

I am sorry about my ramble... but it is just something that has been on my heart.

Mike, Sounds like a reply

Mike,
Sounds like a reply that I would have typed up. I am glad you have posted this reply.

People can be harsh when judging others. Discernment must be done ONLY through the Holy Spirit and not by our own "wisdom", "Understanding" or "knowledge" as we often like to do. Naturally, we as people like to judge. We are a creation of morality who separate good from evil. We are naturally quick to make a judgment based on what we read, hear or see. We make a judgment and then search for references to back it up... then we share our findings with everyone. This is not biblical or righteous judgment. The bible teaches that we should seek the Lord for discernment through prayer, fasting and reading His word. The bible also teaches that we should be careful of what we say or think about those used by God. Now I am not always sure that certain people are of God, so I hold my tongue and just seek the Lord for discernment. I would rather share my concern with others in prayer and not in an attempt to argue my thoughts or feeling. Arguing about scripture and such is something the Scribes and Pharisees did.

Jesus Christ is very much alive. He is the Son of God. He is God. He is all knowing and all powerful. He sustains your every breath and the operation of this universe and beyond. If you believe this, then you should have no problem trusting that He will not lead you astray. Focus on your relationship with God and know His voice (His sheep know His voice).

If a person is revealed to be false or not of God, then it is best to pray for this person. Remember that God does not wish for any to perish but that all might be saved. It is good to share your revelations but without focus on aggressively persuading others to agree but rather remind them to seek the Lord as well that He would give discernment (for all they know, you could be the one deceived). Bottom line, the Holy Spirit gives discernment of spirits and not us alone. Pray, Fast and Read God's Word.

I have to trust a Christian

I thought your post was very well stated and very aptly put!

Thank you Doug, God bless.

Bill Wiese went to hell

Mike:

I am 99% certain Bill Wiese went to hell.

Does he accurately recall everything that happened? I doubt it.

Is an event like this overwhelming to the human mind? You bet it is.

I believe that what Bill testifies too and what he writes in the book is as accurate as he can remember. I don't expect more than that.

Why do I believe this? Cuz I had a death experience from a 4 day drug binge in 1989 and I was a sinner bound for hell.

I have briefly mentioned this in other posts. In a nut shell I momentarily received what I refer to as "soul pain" or "soul punishment". I do not believe I went to hell. I think what happened that moment took place while I was still in my body at home. Then I was allowed to come back and stand up and the next 2 hours I spent in the glory of God in my home. God showed me my heavenly body, my body of death, took me into visions in eternity and had an instantaneous question/answer session between Him and some inner being inside me. How this communication worked is beyond me. I now know this to be my inner man.

Did this really happen? Well...look at the result. I became a born again christian and have been for some 20 years as of today. Think about it. Something happened cuz I couldn't have given 2 bits about God, christians or anything else spiritual for that matter before this happened. Not one bit!

Yea...I know...I'll get all the "know it alls" telling me this is not scriptural and so forth. I don't care cuz I am now heaven bound and playing on the right team.

Somebody say "Praise the Lord".

death experience

Ive always known these Near death experiences or death experiences people have went thru are true from my own personal episode in life similar to this last post....I am not sure your name but the 4 day drug binge and consequent experience struck a cord with me because in 2002 I experimented with a drug called Ketamine at a Rave dance party and also consumed extasy and cocaine for 2 days , 48 hours of mostly hell on earth. I actually wrote a 4 page essay a week later about the visions I had from the ketamine and the fact that I saw either angels or demons on peoples faces at the water park we were at while high on ketamine. I would include that essay if I still had it but my point im trying to make here is on the third night of this dance party, I went to sleep...

and a little more then ten minutes after going to sleep I could feel myself sliding down a tunnel, and not being able to move, but sliding down a tunnel, almost feeling like my arms were tied tight, and not being able to get out, knowing I was going somewhere evil as the tunnel was getting tighter and tighter..all I can remember while sliding down was calling out for Jesus Christ to please save me , over and over and over again.

I was able to wake up and I have never done Ketamine again since. I have struggled with alcohal but I do know in my heart that if I dont keep asking for God's help, ill simply float away and never be seen again. I put on my Godly armor and I pray for others to do the same. Our swords is the Word of God.

I have to trust a Christian

I think it's safe to say that I'm 100% certain Bill Wiese went to hell.

Thanks for sharing your testimony, Praise the Lord indeed!!! And may the Lord bless you.

Hell and heaven- to and fro

Mike:

Ok...here's another one for ya. Try this one on for size.

In Daniel 12:4 God tells the prophet to shut up the books, that in the end times knowledge will increase and many will go to and fro.

Ok. Today knowledge is doubling every 18 months. Got it?

Now what does it mean many will go "to and fro"?

Well if you're like me you'll think it means many will travel by car, train and plane, right?

Sounds good to me but I am wrong!

Well......"to and fro" is seen in the OT when angels come in and out of the presence of God. In other words, from heaven to earth and back.

God revealed to me that Daniel 12:4 means many (humans) will go in and out of the presence of God.

Think for a minute.

What does this mean?

Yep...in the end times many people will go to heaven and into the presence of God and back out of the presence of God. Heaven, Earth and hell.

As of the year 2000 over 20,000 incidents of both children and adults have been reported where upon death they went to heaven and met Jesus. Children who have died acted as if it were he most natural thing on Earth. You see Mike with modern medical technology we can resuscitate people who have died and their spirit/soul has left the body. Dr. Rawlings, a cardiologist reports people he resuscitated who claimed they went to hell. Woooo.....

God is allowing many to come into and out of His presence. He is allowing man to see Heaven, Earth and hell.

Now does this mean that every word reported is accurate. No. Why? Well even Paul said he saw things in heaven he could not speak of. Why? Cuz he didn't know what he saw.

Trust me. I dropped dead in front of the fire place and what took place after that was both thrilling and very frightening. It is a frightful thing to find yourself in the presence of a Holy God. It's not funny. I was a sinner and this translucent Glorious Being was in my midst. Wow! But do I recall it all? No. It happened so fast and it was like time stood still. I doubt I accurately recall even 40% of it now. But it happened.

Ok...................go to www.freecdtracts.com for many other heaven and hell accounts. Look to the side bar when you google this. There must be 20 of them or more.

David

Hell and heaven - to and fro

Thanks David, that was very well said.

God also says in Joel 2:28 that in the last days men will dream dreams and see visions.

Now we can know that Christ is coming back soon. Remember, Bill Wiese said that Jesus told him, "Tell them I am coming very, very soon!" That was ten years ago. How soon do you think very very soon is to the Lord. 20, 30 years maybe? But Jesus doesn't know cause He said in the Bible that he doesn't know the day or the hour when he comes, only the Father knows. But that doesn't mean he doesn't know that it will be soon.

I'm actually very familiar with the freedctracts website. I have purchased cd's and dvd's of Bill's testimony on
that website. And yes, there are at least 20 more testimonies of people claiming to have been to Heaven or Hell.

There is also another website that I thought you might want to check out. It's also a website dedicated to people that have been given visions. So, for many other heaven and hell accounts go to, www.divinerevelations.info

O I almost forgot one more thing.

Your absolutely right, with modern medical technology we certainly can and have resuscitated people like you mentioned with Dr. Rawlings.

In fact Bill himself in his book has a story of a man who died during World War 2, and was resuscitated.

I'll post that story here in case you aren't familiar with it. I personally have purchased my own book of 23 Minutes in Hell, I've had it now for about 2 years.

This is on page 61 in the book.

Another time my wife and I were asked to speak at a large Russian church in Sacramento. We went, and it turned out to be a marvelous experience, one we will never forget. It was a very orthodox but Spirit-filled church. The
women still wore the shawls over their heads and dresses down to their ankles. Many had escaped Russia and had been in the concentration camps in Germany during the 1940s.

After speaking that evening, one of the elders of the church came up to us and told us through an interpreter that he was a Russian Jew and had been thrown in the ovens at one of the prisoner camps. A friend had pulled him
out of the oven and was able to bring him back to life. He said that during that experience, he died and had been taken to hell. He told me he had seen exactly what I had shared with the group that night.

With tears streaming down his weathered face, he said that he had prayed that one day someone would come and confirm what he had seen. Finally, after 56 years, his prayer was answered. He had written a book about his experience, which he signed and gave to us. He thanked us so much for coming and answering his prayer for all those years. Knowing that we had been an answer to that old man's prayers after all those years left us with a feeling of great honor and humility.

Bill Weise went

Praise the Lord brother!

I had a similar experience many, many, years ago. My first wife had left me, and I was alone in a dump of a house, and laying on my bed, in extremely deep depression and abject misery, I felt myself dying. I felt my soul begin to leave my body and I felt myself begin to descend into this dark, gloomy, abyss or pit.

I can only recall the horrible terror and loneliness and fear I felt, and the pangs of death and conscience that gripped my soul like iron claws.

but I called upon God, and He lifted me out and saved me! So again, praise the Lord, brother!
Hell is real, in spite of what the skeptics and atheists say, but God is even more real!!!

Why I don't believe Bill Wiese went to Hell

To every Christian on this site, please read this!

My name is Jeff Williams, I am a born again Christian.

Do I believe Bill Wiese went to Hell? No. Why?

Because there are very strange inconsistencies in his story that you need to take notice to. I would like to address them one by one.

#1. He claims to have gone to bed shortly before midnight on November 22, 1998 and was "catapulted out of my bed
into the very pit of Hell." (page 2) Ok, so as you can see by his own testimony, he was in his bed at the time of his "departure" to Hell, he says at 3:00 am. However, his wife Annette says this on page 46: "I woke up to screams coming from down the hallway. My first reaction was to look to my right to see if Bill was there beside me in bed. He wasn't." Ok, so the million dollar question is, how did Bill get from being in his bed to laying on the floor several rooms away if he was in Hell the whole time, with no possible way to control his body in the meantime?

#2. Annette continues on with this: "I turned to my left and looked at the digital clock, and noticed that it was 3:23 am. I got out of bed and WALKED down the hallway to the living room where I found Bill in a fetal position with his hands grasping at the sides of his head. His breathing was erratic, and he was screaming, "I feel like I'm going to die!" I thought he was having a heart attack." I don't know about you, but if someone I loved was in a fetal position on the floor, and their screams woke me up, I would RUN, not walk to wherever they
were. Her testimony does not match what a prudent person would do under those circumstances, and the rest of her
story is similarly unbelievable. She did not call 911 when she believed he was having a heart attack, even when he was screaming the entire time she was praying over him. No woman I have spoken to, even Christian ones, has agreed that they would have done the same under similar circumstances, knowing what Annette knew at the time she
had awoken.

#3. He claimed during the book that he was unable to think of the Lord during his time in Hell because Jesus Himself prevented it. (page 37) There are two problems with that. First, how would he know that the demons in the prison cell were blaspheming against a God he did not know? (page 4) Second, in his alleged encounter with Jesus, all Jesus said was, "I kept it from you" but did not give an explanation. Wiese offered an explanation, but that did not come from Jesus.

#4. Upon arrival to the prison cell, initially, Wiese said he could not stand due to an inexplicable weakness, which apparently never got better. (page 2) However, after getting soundly whupped on by 2 of the 4 giant demon captors, somehow with his chest ripped open and in the pitch blackness, he was able to stand up and walk away. He offered no explanation how he somehow "adjusted" to his predicament and got stronger, even as his circumstances got much much worse.

#5. After escaping the prison cell and demonic tormentors, he said he was taken back there to get roughed up again. Then all of a sudden he was standing next to the pit of fire 10 miles away without any explanation as to how he was carried such a vast distance instantaneously, or how he managed to stand up after being nearly drawn and quartered. (page 14)

#6. During his encounter with Jesus he claimed that he arose from the bottom of the cavern and was rising in the air. Then suddenly Jesus appeared and he fell to His feet. How is that possible when both are floating in the air? What could he have fallen on?

#7. His testimony, indeed the title of the book indicates that he had been in Hell for 23 minutes, but clearly that couldn't be the case because he claimed that Jesus took him out of Hell and into outer space, and then back
to his home. That time between his departure from Hell and his arrival at home clearly would have eaten away some of those 23 minutes.

#8. His "abduction" at 3:00 am - Now this may be picking nits but why would Jesus take Bill at the tail end of what is referred to as the "Witching Hour"?

#9. Finally, and this is perhaps the most damning to his story, but Scripture clearly states that people do not go to Hell and return back to the Earth. In fact according to the Lazarus and the rich man parable it is strictly forbidden because nobody would believe the person anyway. Jesus WOULD NOT violate His own Word, and for
Wiese to have actually gone to Hell and back would contradict God's Word. This beats even the previously mentioned contradictions in Wiese's story.

So that leaves us with the nagging question, why would Wiese experience this if he experienced it at all? Bear in mind that Wiese is a professed Christian since 1970 and has had 28 years to learn the Bible and Hell mythology as it pertains to Christianity today - prior to this event. I don't think he hallucinated it, but he may have dreamed it, and he could have just made it up.

If he dreamed it then he clearly was being deceived. I have no clue why he would make it up, other than to add more validity to the Hell scare tactics that have produced recalcitrant and often backsliding pseudo-converts throughout the ages.

Does this mean that his book is entirely bad? No not really. He does make some standard Christian points that Jesus, not our own "goodness" or good works is the way to Heaven. That's the Gospel in a nutshell and thankfully
Wiese does not waver from that point at any time. Does he use a substantial portion of his biblical references inappropriately or out of context, yes and that is a very pervasive scourge in modern Christian writings that is
incredibly annoying, not to mention dangerous.

All that being said, I believe Bill Wiese to be an earnest Christian man who is doing all he can to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others in his own way. Do I believe his story? Absolutely not, it's inconsistent as well as unbiblical. But I in no way doubt his faithfulness to Jesus or his commitment to spreading the Gospel.

May the Peace and Love of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

Jeff's arguments come from my blog

Not that I mind it being used, just please give credit where credit is due.

God bless,
JC Masters

I think the biggest

I think the biggest contradictions or inconsistencies in Bill Wiese's story are contradictions #1, #5, #6, and #7.

#1. Anyone that leaves their body in an out of body experience cannot control their body till they return back to their body.

#5. How can someone be carried 10 miles instantaneously

#6. How could he have fallen at Jesus' feet if they are both floating through the air?

#7. He says he left his body at 3:00 am, and returned at 3:23 am. That means he was away from his body for 23 minutes. So, in order for him to have been in Hell for 23 minutes, he would have had to be sent back to his body
immediately at 3:23 am. But since he says he was taken out of Hell and into outer space, along with a long conversation with Jesus, all of that would have taken approximately 5 to 10 minutes. So take 10 minutes away from the 23 minutes, and that's how long he was in Hell.

This is the biggest contradiction to his story.

Make up your mind

You state Bill Weise is inconsistent, yet you are the same. He can not be an earnest christian and yet deceptive at the same time as you believe.

Which is it?

Direction Found

Hello again,

It is now March 2009, and a message on myspace reminded me of this post; Of my confession.
I'd like to start my second post by sincerely thanking everyone that has written in reply to my post. I was amazed at the fact anyone even replied.
Kathie, Thank you! I've yet to give up. I thought it would be neat to tell you all what has happened once I have confessed and truly reached the bottom of my life and prayed for help.

On december 28th, 18 days after my post. I threw away almost everything in my apartment (The prison that most nearest me called it.) Packed up and moved to Music City ..Nashville, TN.
On the way I text my Father and told him I forgave him for not wanting anything to do with his family. I never heard back..But I have moved on.
I found my confidence through being a christian again and knowing that God is by my side and angels stand behind me. Some have called it my "God complex". While I like to think about it as invicible faith.
I started playing open mic nights and writers night where no one even knew my name. I had no friends...Only a dark past in which I was crawling to the light at the end of the tunnel. I prayed everyday...but this time I didn't pray for things to happen like record deals or a girlfriend or fame and what not. This time I prayed that if I just walked..If I just roamed, and let You (God) guide me.. Where would You lead me?
I live in a city now most call "Nashvegas" I've walked down broadway and fed homeless, I've given a ex criminal money to find a bed, I've played many writers nights with my cross tattoo'd on the arm everyone watches.
After months of playing everynight and helping where I saw needed a lady named Cathy came up to me. Cathy is a christian artist development agent and she has taken me in. I am now readying an ablum to record with Kent Wells (Dolly Partons Producer) and also a few tracks with Danny White & Robert Reynolds (The black crowes, and hope floats movie soundtrack.)
They are helping me quit smoking, I am taking voice lessons every week, as well as learning how to be a true artist. A true christian rock artist. Once the demo's and I are ready, they are to be pitched to Sony BMG, Warner, Arista, RCA, Capitol, Universal, Columbia, and Epic records. These producers and record label executives have been telling me "I have God's gift of music." and that "You are a ball of music. You ARE music."
Last night, I performed in Downtown nashville, and the moment I sang the first line in my song, and hit the first chord, I could hear the crowd roaring. They knew the song. At that moment I felt success. For the first time in my life.
With or without the record deal, glamour and fame. With or without the respect and glory of people nation wide hearing my music. God has taught me that in his eyes I am already the John Mason I dreamed of being. I just need to keep doing what I feel is right, and keep doing what I love, and he will take care of me. I fear nothing human.

Without writing you guys a book... I just wanted to post to show people, to be living proof, that if you pray for forgiveness, guidance, patience, persistance, or anything that is right...He does answer. It's up to you to keep the job. But God opens the door.

You just have to listen.

Praise the Lord. Amen.

Praise the Lord. Amen.

Praise God!

I praise God for His mighty works in your life. May you always abide in His love. Today Christians seriously needs living proof of the miracles that God can perform in believers life.

hello John

hi John, pardon me, i just would want to say your not alone for i too experience some ways that you have and by saying this, it will help me in my own brokeness. I believe we are led to things through the spirit of Christ to know he will never leave us nor forsake us. The word of God never goes back on it's promises. As in the scriptures in romans 8:38-39..For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Hold on to this John, for God never gives up on you. He keeps you in his grace. And you are the apple of his eye.You are not a failure in his eyes. God will make a way where there seems to be no way.All you got to do is trust in him in everything and in forgiveness as well. Ask for healing. You are the clay, Christ is the potter and he'll mould you and heal you. Meditate on his words. He has a future for you. You have my bestest regards. God bless you always.

Divine Direction

My name is John Mason. I'm 24 years old. Bill Wieses' book drew me in after a fight with a girl I've longed to meet for a long period of time. She has lied and led me on in many ways and I ended our "Phone" relationship by telling her to "Go to hell". I believe the Lord lead me to this book for I've been restless and nocturnal lately. Showing me what evil my words truly meant. I am, in my belief a christian, and I have been saved by a church when I was young. Baptist to be exact. I've struggled to be a songwriter/ performer for many years although my confidence has been stripped due to my sins. I feel like I do not deserve love of any kind or something great like a record deal to happen to me. I also smoke a pack a day which I know is a sin to destroy my own body and I do it whilst knowing. I am also a sinner in ways that I am a liar. To hide my failure in career talk and normal everyday questions. I am an adulterer, in a sort of fashion. I haven't honored my father, or spoken to him in years. I have prayed in all sorts of fashions to find forgiveness but everytime I pray I feel I'm praying for selfish reasons, to save myself. I feel unsincere. My soul feels stained dirty and full of sin and regret. I became a strong christian from an expierence I had when I was very young. I was sleeping on the floor near my mothers bed on a pallet when I heard a very strong voice say "JOHN!" so loud it rattled my brain and all of the bones in my body. And through the years of praying I have heard only my name outloud. The rest have been signs or him leading me to things like your book. I feel as if I have no escape from hell from the mistakes I've made in my life and the shame I've lived. I've always felt like I could do great good in this world if I only knew where to start- but the darkness in which my guilt leaves me in has left me lazy and not productive. I don't know if you; or many people at all will read this. And I have no proof that God and hell is real. But in my heart I feel it is. I'm posting this for two reasons- the first being I wish to know how I can be better and be forgiven. And the second being, I can't sit around anymore knowing something is real, and of the utmost importance, without saying anything.

Divine Direction

John,

I'm not a preacher, but the Bible says how can some one be saved except first someone preach the word to him?

I would first recommend that you prayerfully search the Bible to find what God says about salvation, and secondly, I HIGHLY recommend you listen to the sermons of a man named Paul Washer. You can find him on You tube. He will explain exactly what it takes to find the Lord's salvation, much better than I ever could, and he won't lie to you like many preachers do.

For John

Hi John! How blessed you are! God is calling out to YOU. Live your life for God. Remember God said, If you seek to save your life you will lose it. If you lose your life you will save it. Luke 17:33 or in other words, Give your life to God.

1.Gather your favorite praise songs on a CD and listen to them daily.
2.Meditate on the names of God.
3.Write a list of everything God has given you,all of your blessings.
4.Read the scriptures everyday. You may want to start your reading with the sayings of Jesus.
5.Take a Bible study class.

You may want to consider using your talents for God's glory.

Our puny sins aren't too big for God. Don't worry about the content of your prayers. Your prayers will change overtime.

By all means and first and foremost, Make peace with your father regardless of what he has done. Forgive him!

Get your self confidence from God. Your letter helped me to realize this truth.
How blessed you are to realize all of this while you are young instead of at the end of your life.

STAY STRONG

HI MY NAME IS CAROL I AM ONLY 15 YEARS OF AGE I THINK YOU SHOULD NEVER GIVE UP GOD WANTS SOMETHING FROM YOU AND HE MADE YOU UNIQUE. HIS WORD SAYS THERE IS NO CONDEMNATION NOW PRAY FOR ANSWERS AND PRAY FOR SIGNS AND FORGIVENESS

Hi John, it's near 9:00

Hi John, it's near 9:00 Wednesday, the 10th, the same day you wrote. I feel for you. Don't give up. What I'm thinking is you need to believe you're forgiven. You're very repentant, and that's good, remorseful, and that's good, see how broken and sick and needful you are. You're experiencing a sorrow. Worldly sorrow leads to death, but a godly sorrow leads to life, the bible says. You have to believe the shed blood of Jesus is sufficient to cover your sins. God knows you feel unworthy. "God commends His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for the ungodly." I'm at work and have to leave now. But I'll be glad to keep writing to you if you want. Kathie
