What is the Bible?

The Bible is a collection of 66 books, 39 in the Old Testament or Old Covenant, and 27 in the New Testament or New Covenant. We can think of the Old Covenant as being the old contract or the old deal between God and men, while the New Covenant is the new contract or the new deal between God and man. The Old Testament contains the Law of Moses, books of history, books of poetry, books of wisdom, and books of prophecy, many of which are fulfilled today in amazing detail. read more »

The Nature and Power of the Word of God

"For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)

AREN”T WE INADVERTENTLY CASTING DOUBT ON THE HOLY BIBLE BY REFERRING TO OR LABELING THEM “A VERSION”?

Why do ye all defile the integrity of “The Holy Bible” by referring to any or all translations of The Truth or The Word of God as a “Version” (which immediately casts doubt on its’ integrity and authenticity) and when (for the sake of brevity) it is abbreviated to “V”. Is not this “V” the only mark a serpent or viper can make? read more »

The Inspiration of the Bible

The Bible was written down by different human authors of varying backgrounds. Some were fishermen, others, shepherds. One was a tax collector! Yet behind each one of them was God the Holy Spirit who inspired what they wrote. "For prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit." (2 Peter 1:21). "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." (2 Timothy 3:16) read more »

On Interpreting the Bible

Some religious leaders have the idea that only certain people have the right to read and pray to God in order to understand what God is saying to them through the Bible.
