4. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot ENTER into the kingdom of God.
6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

ARE YOU SAVED?
As the Bible says, I am already saved (Rom. 8:24, Eph. 2:5–8), but I’m also being saved (1 Cor. 1:18, 2 Cor. 2:15, Phil. 2:12), and I have the hope that I will be saved (Rom. 5:9–10, 1 Cor. 3:12–15). Like the apostle Paul I am working out my salvation in fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12), with hopeful confidence in the promises of Christ (Rom. 5:2, 2 Tim. 2:11–13)."
Scripture teaches that one’s final salvation depends on the state of the soul at death. As Jesus himself tells us, "He who endures to the end will be saved" (Matt. 24:13; cf. 25:31–46). One who dies in the state of friendship with God (the state of grace) will go to heaven. The one who dies in a state of enmity and rebellion against God (the state of mortal sin) will go to hell.
church
i recently asked the question ; why do go to church ? some of the answers i received were astonising .i would like to pose the same question to you all. i understand why i go ,it was confermed sunday night at church by ower pastor's message
Why Go to Church?
I go to church to fellowship with other believers. The Bible says we are to assemble ourselves together. A person can draw strength from fellow believers. They can also get prayer a 3 fold chord is not easily broken. Also to hear the word of God and His teaching, learn more about Him. Yes, I can and do read and study my Bible at home but sometimes a person can over look something and takes another to point it out. Then there is the fact I love my Saviour and God and I want to please Him.
