Apologetics
This category is about showing the reasonableness of the Christian faith and the Bible, in spite of the efforts of all dishonest scholars who seek to undermine it.
This site does not pretend to be a complete resource on the subject of apologetics, which is virtually endless in its scope. It is hoped however that it will be of benefit to enquiring minds who seek to know the truth.
On Atheism
Atheism denies even the existence of God, and therefore seeks to put the question of eternal salvation totally off the agenda for all thinking people. Not as many people even in the west are atheists as people suppose. But there are some very militant atheists who have seized control of much of the media and academia in western culture today. Militant atheists have a special opposition to the God of the Bible. Very few atheists bother to attack belief in Krishna for example. Very few have the courage to step up and preach their atheism openly in an islamic society. No, it is Yahweh, the God of the Bible, that is the target of militant atheists. I contend that this is because militant atheists are actually driven by God-hating evil spirits who are motivating the atheists to use their talents for the spiritual destruction of mankind.
Some people, though not militantly atheistic, are confident that there is NO God. They honestly believe that darwinistic evolution has been proven beyond reasonable doubt. They were taught this as children in schools and they know that many people in Universities also think this way. Most scientists who believe in darwinism assume that those in other scientific disciplines have proven it - they can't point to solid proof in their own.
And just calling Darwinism a "FACT" does not make it so. Naturalism is a philosophical preference for those who choose to believe that the Universe has no designer, not a "fact".
The world certainly doesn't look like it came by accident, with everything that exists coming about by random trial and error. But darwinist philosophers are asking us to believe that. Its the only alternative if you want to deny the existence of an intelligent designer.
For more on this important subject, see this article I wrote some time ago. For a more scientific and in depth site on this theme for those who are more intellectually inclined, see Uncommon Descent by philosopher and mathematician William Dembski. The Resurrection of Jesus Christ - a well supported FACT of history, if anything historical can be called a fact, and a powerful reason for FAITH.
If the resurrection of Jesus Christ is true, most of the world's population is ignoring the most vital fact of human history, and the ONLY hope that actually exists to escape the wrath of God, which comes upon people PRECISELY because they choose to suppress the truth of what God has already shown them and prefer to go off into the lies that are more popular in their demon infested culture.
But some want to deny the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The facts are hard to explain away, but some don't feel they need to even look at them - they have ASSUMED or TAKEN ON a philosophy which says that things like resurrections can't happen. I hope that you, dear reader, will get informed on this subject as your eternal destiny certainly hangs on what you believe on this issue.
This site does not even attempt to be the best at answering all questions on apologetics. But please do check out some of the various articles below all of which address important issues. We encourage you to visit our new Christian discussion forum, as not every page can be commented on. So please, share your wisdom, share your testimonies, share your understanding. You can register for the new forum here and register for general comments to the pages on this drupal site here. Due to the lack of programming time, we have different registrations for different parts of the site.
