Anointing a church member's home

I surrender all, all to Jesus my prescious savior. What does that mean? Me, I'm kinda like the doubting person. I need to see what I'm believing in. If you go into a home like Cortez invading Mexico you are likely to get the same result. A war. The good news of Christ is not about removing idols. It is about spreading goodness. It is about salvation from superstition. It is about freedom from the bondage of nothingness. If you walk with God, then all those with whom you come into contact will be blessed with God's presence and experience the annointing.

Lord have promised blessing and prosperity to those who belongs to him.Look here Psa 91:8-10

"A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling."

The bible here shows that you need only to ask them,If they want God's security stated in psalm 91? if yes the principle is here on Col 1:13-14

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

they dont need anointing,they neeed to be born again for Jesus to transfer them from Kingdom of darkness then you will have to do spiritual warfare,i mean minister on them deliverance,cast out spirits of death....Look more articles on spiritual warfare on this web

There is no New Testament example of anointing someone's home. But based on principles in the Old Testament, the first thing to do is seek God and look around for any evidence of idolatry in the home. They have to get rid of idols if they want God's blessing. Ask questions.

The second thing is whatever you do, first be full of the Holy Spirit. What you do is an act of consecrating the house to God. Its a meaningless thing if the people there don't want to surrender themselves to Jesus Christ fully.
