At one time we were not that way, but Adam our Father chose disobedience to God, and sadly that affected us as well. We were born into a world marred by sin. From the word go, demonic powers had access to us to trip us up.

God is a good God. He wants you to experience that. All you need to do is trust Him. Trust Him enough to listen to Him and go His way.

God enjoins us to pray. To pray, and believe that God is going to answer. That we are going to get a result. God has told us that we are stewards of our time. If prayer was a waste of time, God would never tell us to pray without ceasing. read more »

At the time of writing (in December 2012) I am 47 years old. I was raised by godly parents in a Christian family and I have been part of Reformed (Calvinist), Anglican, Pentecostal, Charismatic, Baptist and Church of Christ churches at various times in my life. Apart from reading the Bible often I have also read many Christian books by many different authors - and not only from our present age. Many have different views on things. I have also been a practitioner of the gospel - going out and planting churches in foreign nations through preaching the gospel. read more »

How to be wise in the last days

These are some thoughts that God put in my heart today, so I thought I would share them here in the hope that others can benefit and be encouraged and motivated by them:

If in the last days the love of many will grow cold, then I want to make every effort to walk in love no matter what is thrown at me.

If Jesus is wondering if He will find faith on the earth when He returns, then I want to believe and choose to trust God even when:
- I don't understand
- when it does not make sense
- and no matter what my mind or heart says at times or what the circumstances try to say. read more »

In moderating a site like this it is always a challenge to encourage the good contributors while keeping the spammers out.

To manually approve all comments is a time consuming process.

What is likely to happen is that I am going to upgrade the permissions of people who have been making worthwhile comments and posts. Such people will be able to post comments and blog posts without going through moderation. read more »

This morning - Thursday, 20th of September, I woke up from a dream that shook me. In the dream Jesus was sited on a chair on a platform and people were in the crowd in the hall. The people represented the world in general. This was a waiting time before Jesus was to come back and declare Himself as King. Suddenly Jesus got up very confidently from the chair and walked very determined , with the chin up and with the authority of a King written all over Him. read more »

Time is RUNNING OUT for us to freely, easily and effectively share the gospel to the nations of the world. As we get closer to the end, things are going to get more difficult - not easier. Surely some of the news, especially alternative news, would confirm that things are not going to be business as usual.

Today as I was praying, I was faced with a great need to hear God about our future. We have 3 options before us in 3 different countries. How can we know for sure that we are hearing God and not get it wrong? Getting it wrong would be quite costly when you consider the implications of moving the family overseas.  read more »

Back in July 2009, the LORD God has put it on my heart to invite people on www.christian-faith.com to participate in a “viral prayer network”. The vision was to get small groups of 3-4 people to PRAY together online for themselves and their ministries and various prayer causes. Everyone will be encouraged to participate in TWO such groups three times a week each for a minimum of 15 minutes each. Happy New Year to all! When I prayed tonight, I got a Word from God. The Bible says: 'Be filled with the Spirit, redeeming the time!' (Ephesians 5). God says here that if we take the time to pray and put the effort necessary to pray UNTIL we are truly filled with the Holy Spirit, He will make sure that the time you put in prayer will be redeemed and even more! read more »
