All Believers Are in a War- Pastor Caspar

Teaching – All Believers Are in a War

Pastor Caspar McCloud – 8-8-10 Upper Room

One of my Southern Baptist brothers told me this one about the Southern Baptist who was in the habit of sneaking to the race track to bet on the horses.

One day he was losing badly when he saw a priest step onto the track, walk up to line-up and bless one of the horses on the forehead. The horse was a long shot, but the Southern Baptist thought, “With the priest’s blessing, surely this horse will win.” He placed a small bet, and sure enough the horse came in first.

At the next race, the priest stepped onto the track and blessed another horse’s forehead. Even though this horse was also a long shot, the Southern Baptist was a little bolder this time and placed a larger bet on that horse. Again, it won.

A third time, the priest stepped onto the track and blessed a horse on the forehead. Like the others, this horse was also a long shot. The Southern Baptist placed an even larger bet this time, and sure enough the horse won.

This pattern continued throughout the day with the priest blessing the forehead of a long shot horse, the Southern Baptist placing larger and larger bets, and the horse always winning.

At the last race of the day, the Southern Baptist thought, “I have got to go for broke here.” With great anticipation, he watched as the priest stepped onto the field one more time, walked up to the line-up and blessed the forehead, eyes, ears, and hooves of one of the horses. The Southern Baptist ran to the ticket counter and bet all he had on that horse.

The horse came in dead last!

As he was walking out, he saw the priest. Walking up to him, he demanded, “What happened? All day long you blessed horses and they won, even though they were long shots. Then at the last race you blessed a horse, I bet everything and the horse lost.”

“That’s the problem with you Protestants,” said the priest. “You can’t tell the difference between a simple blessing and the Last Rites.”

We thank you Papa God for this day and we want to come now and enter into your courts with thanksgiving in our hearts and rejoice in your presence. We thank you for the awesome privilege of partnering with you and invite you Holy Spirit to come and take us over in this meeting and in this day. That we give you all our praise and worship and we love you and ask for your blessings to overtake us and chase us down.

We bind and break the power of every unclean spirit from interfering with us in any shape, form, or manner. So right now in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I take authority over the devil that has been ruling your spirits, and your souls, minds, and bodies.

I take authority over Satan and his entire invisible evil kingdom right now and I release your spirits to the love of God. I release your minds and bodies to the peace of God Almighty. For you are the apple of his eye and the object of his attention. For he loves you with an ever lasting love, and he proved his love for you because he sent Jesus Christ the Living Word to come and die the most horrible death possible just to save you. That is because he truly loves you and there is no greater love than a man who would willingly lay down his life for another.

We ask you Holy Spirit to come now and teach us more of your ways so we can better learn to put on the mindset of Christ this day. That we can do what you have called us together to do. That signs and wonders will confirm and follow us as we line up with you. We are so grateful for your mercy, grace, and love and we love you forever, Lord, amen.

I rather like the work of Bach. I enjoy his work immensely from front to Bach.

It is interesting to me to study the lives of certain historical figures who were believers. Johann Sebastian Bach was never attracted to stardom, fame, or fortune. He once told a student, “Just practice diligently, and it will go very well. You have five fingers on each hand just as healthy as mine.” Once, when an acquaintance praised Bach’s wonderful skill as an organist, Bach demonstrated his characteristic humility and wit by replying, “There is nothing very wonderful about it; you have only to hit the right notes at the right moment and the instrument does the rest.”

Bach said, “Music’s only purpose should be the glory of God and the recreation of the human spirit.” Music was given to glorify God in heaven and to edify men and women on earth. It wasn’t to make lots of money, or to feed the musician’s ego, or to be famous. Music was about blessing the Lord and blessing others. I would guess every profession can be applied to this logic and profound understanding.

The goal of the music through ministry is to bring glory to God through anointed praise and worship. All believers are anointed because all believers are filled with the Holy Spirit. We are created to praise the Lord.

We believe in the power of praise here to help break strongholds. It’s like during the start of a war where the army first sends in the airplanes to bomb the living daylights out of the enemy. In other words it breaks the enemy’s defenses and softens them out for the battle. Before you send in the solders in hand to hand combat you want to clear out the enemy as much as you can with bombings.

Praise and worship do just that; just as the evil spirits departed as King David played his harp which today would be considered like a guitar.

Also, praising the Lord is worship, it becomes like a sweet-smelling sacrifice before the throne of the living God.

There are many forms music can take to accomplish this task as the Lord leads. It might sound like what people referred to as soaking music. It might sound classical like Bach and it just might rock out as well. It’s like electricity. It can be used to power your home, warm you in winter, and keep you cool in summer, give you light and cook your food, or it can be misused and cause great harm. It can be used to end a life like an electric chair at the end of death row. Let us handle it carefully.

Psalm 107:21-22 “Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.”

We believe that God inhabits the praises of His people. Psalm 22:3 “But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.”

When the body of Christ comes together in unity to praise and glorify God with one voice, Papa God will have his way in their midst.

Part of the vision for this ministry is that Papa God will pour out his Spirit as we worship him with anointed music that he has ordained for these last days. The choice of new music, a new song, and whatever direction for music taking place here are the result of prayerfully seeking the Lord for the mind of Christ. Papa God is worthy to be worshiped in the way that he desires and that seems to take different shapes and forms week to week, day to day.

I suppose the Lord likes variety as he gave us all different finger prints and makes each snow flake different. How awesome is the Lord.

John 4:23 “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”

Just look at Acts 16:23-26 “And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely.

24 Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.

25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.”

Here Paul and Silas were unjustly arrested, because they had cast an evil spirit of divination out of the soothsaying girl. The local Philippian’s authorities beat them pretty badly and then had them thrown into a jail cell. This would have looked more like a dungeon, unlike today where prisons seem more like a fancy hotel with air conditioning, and televisions. This place must have been like a sewer. This was a dark, damp, smelly stench-ridden place, with no facility for waste or comforts of any kind. It probably had rats and cockroaches running about everywhere.

Considering all this besides the trauma of having been severely beaten, with aches and pains and bloodied bodies, they were probably fastened in stocks which clamped their arms and legs in an immobile position, causing cramps and loss of circulation as well. They were in pain; quite a lot of pain here, they would have had to be really suffering.

However, in spite of the throbbing pain in their bodies and the gloomy atmosphere, here at midnight Paul and Silas were heard praying and singing praises to God! Can you image the nerve of these guys? They were not murmuring and complaining they were praising the Lord Jesus.

The other prisoners, who were used to only hearing the groans or cursing of those who had been beaten, must have thoughts these guys are real loony tunes. Then something supernatural happens and the chains fell off as the prison doors opened. Nudge, nudge say no more, say no more.

If it happened then it can happen now. Loose those shackles in Jesus’ name.

When you became a believer, you said to the effect of Lord Jesus forgive me of all my sins; I make you the Lord of my life. This is like taking an oath, being sworn in. In fact you just signed up and joined the Lord’s army because you are either for him or against him.

Luke 9:62 “And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God”

The devil has spent many years building up strongholds in you and your family. When you got born again it’s time for all those strongholds to come tumbling down.

1 Peter. 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”

The devil and his evil spiritual forces are assigned to people and families.  He can perpetrate his stinking evil wickedness throughout this world of which he is called the prince for the time being. Mind you his time is running out. It’s always good to remind him where he will spend eternity when he tries to have a chat with you.

Ephesians 6:12-13 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

Satan seems to have only one real objective and that is to “kill, steal, and destroy” (John 10:10).

As I said he plots and he gets strategies over how to tempt and trick you into a place of sin so you are open to curses instead of blessings. The Bible has a lot to say about this and generational curses and blessings. When you are born again, those things are supposed to be cancelled out. People will quote me Galatians 3:13 and that is wonderful but are you appropriating it?

After you got saved Papa God forgave your every sin and you made Jesus Christ of Nazareth your Lord and savior. Now you are a child of God and one of his ambassadors, one of his representatives on this planet. How many sins did you go back to and continue in?

Galatians 3:10-14 “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14 That the blessing of Abraham (might) come

on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we (might) receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

It says “MIGHT” not already did. I might go out and take my horse for a trail ride later today and I might not! Because it might rain, but it might not!

Jesus Christ of Nazareth made it possible that we can defeat the devil now. The battle starts in your mind. You have to capture each of the 30,000 to 70,000 thoughts a day and only keep the good ones. Cast down and throw out the bad ones. Listen. The thing you feed will grow; the thing you stop feeding will wither and die!

1 John 3:8-9 “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

(It does not say the devil’s work is now completely destroyed in your life when you got born again as some teach. It says that it might be destroyed when you simply obey the Lord and walk in His love.)

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

2 Corinthians 7:1 “Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”

Your spirit can get filthy, just like your flesh which is why you may want to shower each day. If your spirit gets filthy, repent and be made clean.

What gets our spirits filthy? Our thought life. When you go into a battle you may get some dirt on you. When you battle in your mind it’s the same thing. You may get some dirt on you tearing down those strongholds the enemy built up.

How do strongholds get build up? When you come into this world you have certain genetic features you receive from each parent which was passed on from their parents and their generations. Think about this; let us consider that a child developing in the womb is taking in the parents conversations. For example the dad is not ready to be a dad and expresses that. That infant who has a spirit picks up on it and is then joined by a spirit of rejection and abandonment. That baby is born with things like asthma as case studies have shown. The child has a front row seat to observe its parents and how they handle life as more is caught than taught.

Those little minds are developing how mother and father handle things like sickness, bills, accidents, tragedies, and the 5:00 clock news. How they respond to visits from grandparents and others; people who maybe they do not get along with very well. It is all observed and processed in the child’s mind.

That child wants to emulate the parents and if the parent is stressed out which is a spirit of fear, what do you think develops as a stronghold in the child? Because they are learning to react the way the parent does. If they see the parent praying to the Lord, reading the Bible, coping as a believer with the trails and tribulations of this life, what do you think will be developing in that child? If that parent walks in blessings what do you think will follow that child?

Exodus 20:6 ”And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.”

It’s very important for children in the formative ages to see mother and father handling problems with a proper Godly perspective.

Exodus 20:3-6 “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.”

Just consider that what a parent portrays to a child will develop as a thought pattern; a way of perceiving life. In other words, the way the father and mother was, often they will as adults activate those same thought processes, which is a way this is inherited. That can become a strong hold because it becomes a way of life.

At an early age how you perceive God will determine how you deal with receiving his help in times of need. Religious spirits will come to set up a stronghold when there is an underlying feeling in ones home that you have to be good enough and somehow earn your way to Heaven. Many of the churches today seem to have a sense of religion about them with the stained glass windows and steeples.

Instead of hearing from Heaven the people hear about some ones opinion from some cemetery, oops! I mean seminary of what the Scriptures are saying. Papa God says what he means and means what he said. You do not have to give your opinion; you are supposed to do and say what the Lord did and does.

John 14:12 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”

Religious spirit will make you think you have to beg Papa God for something, yet he already gave you his promise and he will keep his promises.

John 14:13-15 “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

Religious spirits are a stronghold that wants to make you feel that you can never really get close to the Lord. Or that you need someone else to help you that can intercede on your behalf. If you send in your seed faith money we will go before God on your behalf stuff. This is a form of the sell of indulgences the Catholic church instituted. You give us money and we will make sure your dead loved ones eventually make it to heaven, even if they were not believers. Preying on people’s emotions. However, the Bible says the Lord is concerned about our feelings and our troubles and any infirmities.

1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Its say right before this in verse 6 “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: “

This suggests he is orchestrating a good plan on your behalf. With strong holds we must also examine what happens in early childhood education. Let us recall Jack and his girl friend Jill who went up a hill to fetch some water. Sadly things go amiss and they end up with in a bad way. Actually

the roots of the poem, of Jack and Jill are in France. Jack and Jill referred to are said to be King Louis XVI (16)- Jack -who was beheaded (lost his crown) followed by his Queen Marie Antoinette – Jill – (who came tumbling after). The actual beheadings occurred in during the Reign of Terror in France 1793. The first publication date for the lyrics of Jack and Jill rhyme is 1795 – which ties-in with the history and origins.

In effect this is conveying to children what happens to other can happen to you. Spurred by a spirit of fear no doubt. (No pun intended.)

Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water
Jack fell down and broke his crown
And Jill came tumbling after.
Up got Jack, and home did trot
As fast as he could caper
He went to bed and bound his head
With vinegar and brown paper.

This was all rather gruesome stuff about beheadings.

Then you have Mother Goose giving children Little Miss Muppet about fearful creeping, crawling things.

Humpty Dumpty was a common “nickname” for people of large proportions in the 1400’s. This rhyme refers to King Richard III of England. The Battle of Bosworth took place on 22nd August 1485. It was the fight for the throne between King Richard III and the head of the house of Lancaster, Henry Tudor. Richard sat on his horse atop Ambion Hill ready for battle, directing his armies when he was murdered. At the Battle of Bosworth Field, “Humpty Dumpty or King Richard III, fell from his steed, a horse he had named ‘Wall’ Which is why Mr. Shakespeare’s play Richard III: dramatically has the line ‘A horse! A horse! My kingdom for a horse!’

Richard was surrounded by enemy troops in the battle, and was butchered right there, his body being hacked to pieces. Which explains ‘All the King’s horses and all the king’s men couldn’t put Humpty together again.’ ”

So children are set up with a subtle stronghold this way that some things are beyond repair, they can not be fixed. This is a form of Occultism working.

This goes against the Bible. Because ALL things are possible with God! As people grow up more strongholds are set up and enforced. People’s personal experiences that formulate what they believe. For example you buy a certain thing from a certain manufacture and it does not work properly. You make a vow that you will never buy and own another one of these things. You start telling people so they don’t buy one either. Yet most people are having good fortune with this thing.

Suppose you went out to eat at a very posh restaurant and you are served something undercooked. Now you vow never again will I dine here at this establishment and tell others also. Getting past personal experience can be challenging. It’s like someone who is raised in a Catholic church and gets abused by the nuns and priest then vows “I want nothing to with God ever again.”

Just to drive this point home. If you recall Peter out fishing all night and catches nothing at all. Then Jesus shows up and says, “Peter let’s go fishing” in Luke 5. Peter starts sharing the bad experience of working all night and coming back empty handed. Peter was having a moment where he was stuck in a stronghold of a negative emotion.

Luke 5:5-6 “And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. (Peter sounds a bit cynical here perhaps, nevertheless I will go back and show you by letting down my nets there are no fish to catch.)

6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.”

The Lord Jesus had to take Peter past his own negative experience to provide for him something worthwhile. Many strongholds come from our own personal encounters and they can dictate and cloud our lives from the truth.

Another place Christians get messed over is taking in films and television shows from places like Hollywood where you can make it if you’re just half good. Too many people are allowing their lives to be influenced and directed by the deviant behaviors coming from the evils of this world rather than from the Word of God.

All the celebrities who give their opinions, the athletes, movie and rock stars, and talk show hosts who are perishing from lack of knowledge, yet the enemy is using them to shape and build strongholds in our society.

What was once considered evil things, like pornography is appearing as healthy and the way to happiness. Even the commercials and evening news are tending to be calling evil good, and good evil.  Professing Christians do not always have discernment here. How many believers have come to me and said you need to see this film. Well there are a couple of bad scenes in it but it’s really good. It’s like the devil gives you a nice steak dinner with just a small amount of arsenic hidden in it. No thanks.

Matthew 23:24-25 “Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.”

The devil uses everything he can use to tempt you into little sins so he can set up a strong hold. The Devil’s army is seeking to establish long-term strongholds in which they may dominate and hold captive all people on earth.

The Devil’s army is searching for people, cities, and nations which will give in to temptations to set up strongholds. “Strongholds” can manifest as demon possession or merely a “strong” influence on you and they way you react to a given situation. Obviously many born again spirit filled Christians are the victims of the devil’s strongholds.

Let’s go after the roots of the issue and pull it so it can not come back.

One of the strongest tools of the devil is a spirit of accusation. The devil’s primary strategy appears to be to disguise his activities so that it appears that someone or something else is to blame.

In fact one of his best deceptions is convincing people he does not really exist. Just like for years people said the Mafia did not exist, and the Illuminati did not exist.

The devil wants to get the attention of people and situations so you will “wrestle” with them instead of the evil spirits. Like an evil spirit behind sickness and diseases. That way he can cause you to do battle against the “symptoms” instead of the “real source.” Probably 95% of all sickness and diseases and problems in life are directly linked to the devil.

For example a decongestant may temporally help relieve a stuffy nose, but it will not cure a cold. In fact it will actually prolong it. You can fight with the symptoms of the Devil, but you will not end the problems until you deal with the source and bind the “strong man.” You’ve been given authority over all the works of the devil, use it.

John 14:13-15 “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

We need to know the Word and use it; we need to be able to hear from the Lord. Again it’s interesting to consider that in places like,

Mathew 16:15-17 “He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.”

Proving you can hear directly from Papa God. Then if you recall after Jesus explained to the Apostles what was going to take place, how he would go to Jerusalem and be crucified there, just after Peter heard directly from the Lord. Peter now is resisting Jesus’ decision to return to Jerusalem, knowing that he would be crucified there. Here we see that the Lord Jesus did not rebuke Peter, but instead turned to Peter and rebuked Satan. “Get behind me Satan.” In other words get out of my way devil!

Matthew 16:23-25 “But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.”

Isn’t it amazing that Peter hears from God one minute and a few moments later he is hearing and acting on behalf of the devil? Maybe Peter then thought why did I say that? Peter certainly wasn’t demon possessed and he probably was not all that different from most of us. He surely did not intend to be an offense. Yet there must have been some stronghold left in Peter that the Devil was able to use and inspired Peter’s statement. But the Lord Jesus never accused Peter. He simply went after the real source behind the statement.

Knowing our battle is not with “flesh and blood” but with a cunning and cruel spiritual adversaries (Eph. 6:12). It’s really important to never accuse someone and to know who it is your are coming against with the Word of God, the sword of the Spirit.

Go after the real enemy. Go after the devil, not people; not your brothers and sisters; not your husbands, wives, children and fellow peers and governments. We been given authority to bind the strong man; bind those demons; bind the devil from interfering with us.

Binding the Strong Man

Right after the Lord Jesus cast out a devil and healed a deaf and mute boy, he tells us in Matthew12:29 “Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.”

We simply must speak in the power and authority of the Lord and bind up the devil so that his hands are tied. He has to stop and then we are able to take back whatever he’s stolen from us with interest. There are so many strongholds the Devil has erected, sort of like the German army in WWII where they set up places to shoot the Allied troops as they advanced and came ashore. Many symptoms and unexplained problems people suffer because we do not know to first bind up the strongman.

Preaching and teaching the Word is not easily proclaimed and always well received. Why? because not enough saints are praying. Too many believers are content to know they will enter heaven and not hell and do not really understand that we are at war until Christ returns.

There are certain saints of God that I dedicated myself to pray for each day. Because I knew they were making a difference in this world and I also knew they were on the devil’s radar screen. As they would share things with me I can not repeat. Yet anyone could see the Lord was using them mightily as signs and wonders follow them.

It rather shocked me, some years ago when one of my mentors, Pastor Henry looked at me in the eyes and told me I was now just like him a marked man. But greater is he that is in me than in this world.

John 15:20 “Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.”

Strongholds must be dealt with and bound for the ministry to be effective. All spirit filled believers have authority over the Devil to do this. What is the point of teaching all this week after week if the saints do not raise up and do this?

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;

5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

Papa God has equipped us to overcome ALL of the devil’s and his demon army powers. When the seventy disciples returned that the Lord Jesus sent out they all came back rejoicing about the results of the ministry they did. They had all these amazing testimonies to share. They were saying “Lord, even the demons are obeying us when we cast them out in your name”

Luke 10:17-20 “And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”

Here the Lord Jesus is explaining that this is no great marvel that the devils were subject to them because their names were “written in heaven.”

Meaning because they were saved believers in a true family relationship with Christ, they now have authority over the Devil in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The Word of God has not changed so this is applicable to us now. All those who know Jesus Christ of Nazareth personally as their Lord and Savior have authority to use his name to expel demons anywhere you find them.

Mark 16:17-18 “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

Notice it does not say they shall pray for the sick and they shall recover. It simply says they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Maybe its time to start commanding in Jesus’ name; Papa God already promised healing. Maybe like Peter’s shadow and or the women who just wanted to touch the hem of Jesus clothes and got healed. It’s the same Holy Spirit in us that raised Jesus from the dead. Peter gave away his apron and it healed people because Peter had touched it.

Acts 19:11-12 “And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:

12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.”

Listen, love and faith are powerful weapons against the enemy. Love covers a multitude of sins and without faith you can not please the Lord. Stuff can happen and either we trust the Lord or we trust in this world. You get to choose moment by moment. Here is a real insight for you into all this.

2 Corinthians 2:9-11 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things. (Meaning you do not have to sin anymore if you love the Lord. Simply obey him.)

10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;

11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

The devil’s strongest weapon seems to be in the area of unforgiveness, and well the Lord can not forgive us if we do not forgive everyone else including ourselves.

Let us break down these evil strongholds, Humpty Dumpty style so they can not come back together again! We been given the AUTHORITY to do this — Every spirit filled believer has the legal right and privilege to speak and use the authority of Jesus Christ of Nazareth’s name to bind and take authority over the devil’s activities. Mark 3:27 “No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.”

Right now we issue a spoken command that every demon and devil that has been assigned to any of us here and those watching on line be bound and must leave every stronghold now in the all mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. We collectively and corporately exercise our God given right to do this.

Mark 16:17 tells us “And these signs will follow those who believe: In Jesus Christ of Nazareth name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues.”

As we now come together with other believers we pray and intercede against every stronghold, and we will not stop until we get our desired results. The Spirit of God is here and is with us and moving through each of us. His power is released and unending and we believe, according to our faith it is done. If we need to fast we will fast, but we will be victorious as we will overcome every stinking demon, evil spirit. The devil will not have his way with us anymore. The presence of Papa God surrounds us and protects us. Where Satan and his demon evil spirits have been commanded to leave, we ask that every vacancy be filled up with the Holy Spirit’s presence. Because where the presence of the Lord is, the Devil can not be.

We are God’s children and we lift up the all mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. We worship you, Lord, as a way of life; we sing your praises; we pray without ceasing.

2 Corinthians 6:14 tells us, “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”

So we resist all spiritual darkness; we submit ourselves now as we draw closer to you Papa God. Your Word tells us in James 4:7 this is how we resist Satan and he will flee. The Devil must run from us who are submitted, and yielded Christians. He must run away from our lives, and must run away from where ever we are, and where ever we go.

We shall give no place or vacancy to the Devil. With Satan departed, we ask and believe to fill that void with the Holy Spirit.  We shall let righteousness be the standard rule for all our behavior.

There will be no place where any evil spirit of rebellion, corruption, or immorality, bitterness, unforgiveness and accusation in which the devil can find in us to rebuild his influence or strength and gain any strongholds.

For the Holy Scripture tells us to “give no place to the devil” in Ephesians. 4:27.

Ephesians 6:11 “So we put on, and keep on wearing the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil”

We have the knowledge and we have the discernment; we have the gifts of the Holy Spirit, weapons, and God’s spiritual equipment that we maintain battle-ready at all times. We are ready to resist any satanic assault, and ready to engage in battle for any strongholds in others we meet.

With the shield of faith, the sword of the Spirit we shall move forward and be over comers. Onward Christian solders. If you agree say, Amen, Hallelujah!

I want you to say this with me so both invisible Kingdoms will hear you.

Right now, I am abiding under the shadow of the Almighty because that is what my Lord wants me to do. He is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord that healeth me. He is my refuge and fortress against all sickness and disease, against all problems. I believe the Word of God, and I will trust in the Lord to deliver me from all sickness, diseases and problems of any kind. Because I’m abiding under the shadow of Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord that healeth me; where no plague shall come nigh my dwelling or my body.

So right now I resist sickness and disease. I refuse to accept it! It does not belong to me and I return it to the devil that sent it! I refuse to be defeated and allow any sickness or disease to stay in me. Sickness and disease cannot trespass in my body. Sickness, diseases and poverty and broken relationships and business your assignment has ended you can’t come near my holy temple, my body my dwelling. I refuse you! I resist you right now in the all powerful name of my Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

Psalm 103:2-3 “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.”

(A benefit is a condition of a contract, not a extra bonus thrown in at the last minute at discretion of the employer to entice you for some reason. All the Lord’s benefits are part of the great Salvation package.)

Now as your representative today, bless you Lord; bless you Papa God, Jehovah-Rapha, bless your children now. Bless you Papa God I pray in Jesus Christ of Nazareth’s name, my Lord and my savior, my God in whom I trust.

Lord, I praise your most Holy name. Lord, I thank you and praise and worship you. I thank you for all your benefits. Help us to never forget all your benefits. That signs and wonders and miracles follow. Thank you Lord, for forgiving me all my sins, every one of my sins all my faults, all my failures and disobedience on both sides of my generations all the way back to Adam. Thank you for forgiving us here all our sins, all our faults, all our failures all our disobedience on both sides of my generations all the way back to Adam. Say Amen if you agree.

Thank you Lord, who heals all my diseases and I can not thank you enough for what you have done for me and for us. Thank you for providing healing so that it belongs to me as part of the New Covenant. We thank you Papa God for healing all my sickness and diseases and all our sickness and diseases in Jesus Christ of Nazareth’s name.
