I believe that since you keep coming back with trying to get me to agree with you is that the Holy Spirit is speaking to you..It is His conviction on your life. He wants you not to settle for crumbs but to enjoy a wonderful feast.

This is a true story. I have a friend who was a widow with 2 teen sons & a preteen daughter. She started to attend church & the whole family was gloriously saved. In this church she met a man & they fell in love. They reasoned that they were both mature & would eventually get married & so the man moved into her home..They realized after a few days that this was not right & he moved out…They married immediately so they would not fall back into a trap that the devil had set for them {premartial relations}. They have been married for over 30 years. It was the Holy Spirit that convicted them of their sin of living together & they obeyed God & not what society says is okay. If they would have ignored the conviction of the Holy Spirit & continued on in their sin, eventually they would have stopped hearing the conviction & continued in their sin. Would they still be together???Most likely not for sin builds upon sin..Even Christians fall for the lie that it is okay to live together…

I believe you brought this up before because you feel you are married even though you have not made a commitment legally with the one who is your business partner/ home owner partner /living partner.

You cannot justify yourself before God..He requires that you no longer live in sin & either break off the relationship or go get married…You will feel much better about yourself knowing that you did what God requires of you…

    Marriage is divinely established.
Don’t fall for the lie that they just went & said they were married… In Bible times marriage was more than a contract & vows were made in His presence & in His name….They had customs that the Bible does not mention but the Bible does speak of wedding feasts & people celebrated the wedding couple.. Both the bride & the groom had attendants to serve them..Unlike today’s custom of the bride being the center of attention, it was the bridegroom ..The most important aspect of the
marriage celebration was the announcement of God’s blessing upon the union. It was a public event…

Maybe you do feel that you are married in your heart but the heart can deceive

The heart is deceitful above all things & desperately wicked. Who can know it? I, the Lord search the heart, I test the mind even to give every man according to his ways, & according to the fruit of his doing.
    Jeremiah 17:9,10
