Why Passion for Life Is Not Enough

There is a difference between existing and living–and it has to do with passion. But a passion for life is not enough to be a guarantee that one is truly living life for all that it is worth. There is a fatal deficiency in passion alone.

Jesus once told a parable (Lk. 12:16-21) about a rich man who sought to live life passionately, to the hilt, through his great wealth, only to find that God demanded his soul the very night he made his plans to expand his personal kingdom. God then asked him a most basic question that this man clearly had never asked himself:

Be Strong in Battle

God's perfect will for our lives is nothing short of absolute and total victory, one hundred percent of the time. He wants us to know it and believe it so that we can receive all that Jesus paid for at the cross.

God is immutable He view sin as He also did as SIN

Why do this generation of people think that God would change His mind toward sin to accomadate their sinful lifestyles. The people of God need to find themselves in prayer even more today. Samesex marriages is being legalised all over the world. Wrong is right and right is wrong according to the world’s standard, but God is immutable He cannot lie (Hebrews 6:18), infact it is impossible for God to lie. He destroyed Soddom and Gommorrah(Genesis 19) and why would any one think He would change His mind about this sin today. Time to wake up children of God, we must fight our way through.

not going back, out of the darkness

There is a light of hope for me. I have experienced a lot in the 44 years I have lived. I am posting for the first time. My past has been rocky. These eyes have witness years of depression and just hell. As a child I had no connection to god. My childhood was filled with parents addictions, secrets and

Vision Of Jesus

During the month of June 2012, I wanted to know Jesus. I attended prayer at Hope Alliance Church. There I asked to be prayed over because I was very confused as to why people made me to eel like I was loosing my mind because all I wanted to talk about was Jesus.

This World’s Strange Madness

This world thinks Christians are mad, and Christians feel the same way about the world. It is an old antagonism. When the apostle Paul was defending himself and the faith before a Roman ruler, that ruler interrupted his defense. “‘You are out of your mind, Paul!’ he shouted. ‘Your great learning is driving you insane.’ ‘I am not insane, most excellent Festus,’ Paul replied. ‘What I am saying is true and reasonable'” (Acts 26:24,25 NIV).

Respecting the Presence of God

The power and presence of God was on me this morning when I went into chapel. The anointing to preach and to share, like a sharp two-edged sword, and it was tangible. It was welling up inside me like a storm; I knew that God was going to use me in a powerful way. About 20 minutes later, as the preacher was sharing, my phone went off (I forgot to turn it off, and someone had texted me). I thought it was my wife texting me because I had forgotten to send her some information that she needed before church, and so I quietly walked out the door to send the info.

Getting closer to God

I am a believer who is seeking a closer relationship with God. I’m getting ready to start a fast praying for healing and a word of direction for my life. I feel that I have spent so much time doing what I want and not what he has called me to do. I want to be obedient to The Lord with all my heart, mind , and soul. I’m tired of being an unproductive Christian. As I begin this fast I solicit your prayers for my break through. May God bless you.

did the promise of the land come true?

What does scripture say?

Gen 13:14 And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:
Gen 13:15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.

Gen 15:18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
