Dream (Truth)

I don’t usually write anything about what God says to me in dreams but here i go i’m facing one of my fears.
The dream went like this:
There was three persons in the dream one woman and two men they were discussing history and what was thought about it. Everything they said showed on the television that was next to them. What stood out was that they were talking about world war 2 the most but there account of events and opinions where different according to the information they had received or what information they had been exposed.

Habitation of God

Consequences of Sins, though forgiven.

My question is: If I become a Christian and my sins have been forgiven, Will my body still suffer the consequences of those sins while I am still alive here on Earth?

fear God, lost and in full spiritual battle

I don’t know who I am or which path I should be on, but I do know a lot is being thrown my way and it all started before I can remember. My parents weren’t church goers but there were many times I went to church with others I knew while growing up. I believe strongly in God but my life events have left me feeling lost and confused and fearful. Growing up I was feared psychic and mediums or anything that related to witchcraft, including an ouija board my mom bought me when I was young. She thought it was only an imaginary game and I never touched it thinking it was a curse in a box.

Psalm 5: Morning Prayer vs. Evening–the Difference

Psalm 5

5:1: “Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my sighing.”

Another psalm in which the psalmist bares his soul to the Lord. And once again his lament and pain of heart is that so many reject God and do not honor him with the praise and glory he deserves.

Items/Cash returned after robbery

It was the weekend and I had a bit too much to drink at my friends 25th birthday party in New York City. I don’t recollect leaving the bar and I when I reached my apt in NYC, three guys including a girl helped me to the apt (they came right inside the apt where I live with my sister). When I woke up in the afternoon, I realized my watch and Ipod on me and so was a $110 in cash from my wallet missing. The shades in my apartment which I had recently purchased for $275 was also missing.

Psalm 4: The God that Works

This is the fourth in the series of what the Holy Spirit shared with me concerning the Psalms.

Psalm 4< 4:1:“Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; be merciful to me and hear my prayer.”

At first, this might seem to be another plea for help from God to deliver the psalmist from his troubling plight. There are, after all, many such psalms and God himself invites us to do this very thing, to turn to him in our troubles and seek his help: He wants to be our God, who helps us in our time of need:

Psalm 3: God Delivers Us from Fear and Foe

This is the third in the series of what the Holy Spirit shared with me concerning the Psalms.

Psalm 3

We may tend to forget how dire were the circumstances faced by the real people of the Bible. Here in Psalm three, David is in fear for his life, as even his own son Absalom has risen up against him. And Absalom had many with him, those he had craftily stolen away from his father, king David. David shows his real fear and concern for the situation in his cry to God:

3:1“O Lord, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me!”

Psalm 2: The Danger of Defying God

This is the second in the series of what the Holy Spirit shared with me concerning the Psalms.

Psalm 2

The psalm begins with an incredulous question posed by the godly writer, who sees with the eyes of God beyond time and the limited vision of the world:

2:1: “Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?”

Psalm 1: As Serious as It Gets

When I read the Bible, God’s Word, I hear the Holy Spirit speak to me and show me things of the Lord, just as Jesus promised: “The Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you” (Jn. 16:15 NIV).

Psalm 1

Being the first psalm imposes the responsibility of giving the first impression for all the psalms. Therefore, we can get a strong indication from God, who inspired the psalmists to write what they did, as to what he considers to be of importance. So what do we see here in this first psalm about that?
