So You Want To Love People Like Jesus Did.

So You Want To Love People Like Jesus Did.

the great I am

While I feel I should I shouldn’t be sharing this testimony due to its circumstances and the fear of being judged, I cannot keep quiet because God deserves to be given the glory, this weekend an event I have never experienced, hit me.

Our Testimony/Normal Christianity

It might help you understand normal Christianity better if I give you a little of our testimony. I became a believer in ’77 and my wife 3 years previously. We “discovered” that Jesus is just who He says He is and still doing all the same things He did in His earthly ministry: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.” We also learned He wanted things done His way, according to what His word says, not “I think” or what religion told us. For instance we saw the promise in Acts 16:31, and by faith (Hebrews 11:1) our parents, brothers and sisters all received Jesus.

God Is With You Now

You might be going through a tough time right now, but taken from the life of Isaac God is able to shower you with his goodness even in the middle of your circumstance and have everyone around you amazed. And that should be normal because we serve a supernatural God that doesn’t need circumstances to line up for people to see his goodness, but right where you are right now. I was reading through Genesis and how Isaac was traveling and God told him don’t go down to Egypt because there was a famine in the land and he pitched his tent in the land of the Philistines.

Are You Blessing or Cursing Yourself

What are you saying about yourself and circumstances, because what you say determines whether you are blessing or cursing yourself. When God blessed Adam and Eve He blessed them saying, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that creepeth upon the earth.” When Jesus cursed the fig tree he said unto it, “No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever.” And that’s the same way you bless and curse, they both come out of your mouth.

Is it shame or fear or wisdom to keep away from those who try and persecute you?

Nicodemus the Jewish Rabbi and member of the Sanhedrin has been criticized for coming to Jesus at night, but what about the disciples hiding in fear at night after the Lord Jesus was crucified as we read in John 20:19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

Was it shame or fear or wisdom to keep away from those who persecute and want to kill you? Didn’t Jesus slip away from those who wanted to stone Him?

Most dreams are simply thoughts in a different biochemical state

Most dreams are simply thoughts in a different biochemical state. As we continue focusing on the same issues that concern us while we are awake, but in a different way. The Lord can explain things to us in our Dreams that He may have a harder time getting us to focus on whilst we are awake.
Dreams can also be helpful for problems solving.
I pray you have good dreams and are walking in the light.

Evil needs ignorance which is darkness to survive in just like a fish needs water to live in.

My Conversion from a Humanist to a Believer

Tribulation to Revelation: A Testimonial

Robert Frost, in his renowned poem, “The Road Not Taken,” pronounces:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
As a young man, I encountered two roads such as Frost describes, and the less traveled road I elected to embark upon, ultimately led me away from darkness and into light, thus making all the difference in my life’s quest.

Let It All Hang Out Before God

When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Psalm 32:3-4 NIV

Some time ago, a pastor referred to the Holy Spirit as “the hound of Heaven.” He was making an analogy to describe how the Holy Spirit brings us under conviction. It seems like there are many times that we need to “unload” before God. It’s not quite the same as getting things off our chest, as is commonly said. And it goes beyond rote confessions.
