The Mystery of Unbelief

THE MYSTERY OF UNBELIEF

A great mystery troubled me for a long time: Why do some believe in Jesus and some do not? I say troubled because this is not simply a speculative question of curiosity or merely an intellectual item for discussion: There are consequences of the utmost severity for those who do not believe in Jesus. An eternity in the fires of hell (2 Ths. 1:9, Mark 9:47,48), or its equivalent, is not a trivial matter. When you think about this, then, it does trouble the heart, especially when you think of loved ones close to that heart.

2012: Why the Wild Weather?

2012: WHY THE WILD WEATHER

The summer of 2012 in the USA will always be remembered for the number and severity of storms, wildfires, extreme heat waves, and other extreme weather that struck the country. What are we to make of such widespread and extreme happenings? They are clearly out of the ordinary, as the shattering of thousands of temperature records prove. Do we just chalk it up to the vagaries of weather? Blame it on global warming? Or could there be a deeper cause?

Is it shame or fear or wisdom to keep away from those who try and persecute you?

Nicodemus the Jewish Rabbi and member of the Sanhedrin has been criticized for coming to Jesus at night, but what about the disciples hiding in fear at night after the Lord Jesus was crucified as we read in John 20:19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

Was it shame or fear or wisdom to keep away from those who persecute and want to kill you? Didn’t Jesus slip away from those who wanted to stone Him?

Most dreams are simply thoughts in a different biochemical state

Most dreams are simply thoughts in a different biochemical state. As we continue focusing on the same issues that concern us while we are awake, but in a different way. The Lord can explain things to us in our Dreams that He may have a harder time getting us to focus on whilst we are awake.
Dreams can also be helpful for problems solving.
I pray you have good dreams and are walking in the light.

Evil needs ignorance which is darkness to survive in just like a fish needs water to live in.

My Conversion from a Humanist to a Believer

My Conversion from a Humanist to a Believer
Tribulation to Revelation: A Testimonial
By
William James Marohnic

Robert Frost, in his renowned poem, “The Road Not Taken,” pronounces:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
As a young man, I encountered two roads such as Frost describes, and the less traveled road I elected to embark upon, ultimately led me away from darkness and into light, thus making all the difference in my life’s quest.

My personal encounter with the Lord

Here I come with one amongst many of the most memorable encounters with our Lord!!!!
I attended my first Benny Hinn Miracle Crusade in Amsterdam, Holland on September 28th and 29th
1998. I was prompted to go to that crusade because I had been watching Pastor Benny’s “This is Your
Day “on Super Channel since 1992 and I had also read his book “Good morning Holy Spirit.” In his
book he talks about his encounter with the Lord, so I went to that meeting asking the Lord to confirm
his calling upon my life; as I had, had other experiences before this event.

Pastors Must Stand for the Truth on Salvation

One of the functions of pastors/shepherds/elders/overseers/bishops in the Body of Christ is to "protect the sheep". God refers to His people as "sheep". Sheep have a tendency to follow each other, and sometimes sheep do stupid things. This is why sheep need good shepherds who will protect them from danger.

Obviously the whole "sheep" thing is a metaphor. True pastors themselves are God's sheep. And like sheep, they can often be found following other "pastor sheep" for better or worse.
