Rejoice for this generation

Just pick up a newspaper or watch the evening news, every where we are seeing prophesies being forfilled as we speak. Trials for the saints of God raining on us by the buckets. Strange days with family feuds, brother against brother, money almost worthless. It seems to take a suitcase full at the supermarket. Our churches are more like social clubs with playgrounds for the kids. For those with no hope heart attacks are on the rise. But you know ,the generations before us,would be shouting happy to have been able to see these things.

Is True Belief compatible with Disobedience?

Many of us who grew up in church were taught to be followers of "Saint" Augustine, not followers of Jesus Christ. We were not taught to obey the commandments of Jesus Christ. Most of us after years of going to church could not even list 10 commandments Jesus gave in the gospels, much less obey them.

I want to share my life story today,

My grandpa (from my mother’s side), he is in heaven now, used to pray: “may you be blessed my son so you can feed a thousand people and more”! That time I used to think “I’ll have to become very rich to be able to do that!” But then God taught me another way!

God moves through PREACHING

Preaching is a God-Ordained Activity

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 1:21 "For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."

looking for hope, mercy, and grace

I need prayer. Im in the fight of my life looking at serious prison time due to an accident. Everything is fine with those involved. But the courts want to lock me up and throw away the key.

As an African

My experience in life has been smooth. I had not placed much emphasis on Christ, religion or God until recently. I have studied and lived in the United States for over half my life. I went to the U.S. as a very young adult and lived fairly well under the circumstances. I had never had to worry for long about what and where my next meal would come from. I worked to pay for my tuition and attained a college degree and a masters at that too. I prayed sometimes, without giving much thought to what I prayed for.I figured once I did all that was expected of me, I will be successful.

Question about unpardonable sin.

First of all I have to tell that I’m 15 years old and I’ve aspergers syndrome and a bit OCD/Involuntary thoughts. I’ve had a tough schooling, with getting bullied a lot and so, and been taking medication almost my whole life too. Jesus saved me many times, for example when a sudden lightning strike hit the ground just a few steps away from me. Just so you know I respect him and love him, and I never want to leave him.

I’ve been more depressed than ever at some points, when I thought I had blasphemed the holy spirit, and felt if Jesus doesn’t forgive me, I’ve nothing to live for.

Are all sins the same to God?

I am familiar with the statement made by some that there are no degrees of sin with God. That "sin is sin" and that losing your temper with your children is just as bad as murdering your grandmother in God's eyes. This kind of statement is often made by people who want to encourage gross sinners that God finds it just as easy to forgive them as anybody else, or to put the self-righteous in their place so to speak.

Like all half-truths, this statement has appeal, but it is also false – and dangerous to believe for reasons I hope to show.
