I was a heroin and cocaine addict. Heroine to go to sleep cocaine to get up, I didn’t shoot the dope but I tooted so much that it is a wonder I had any membranes left in my nostrils. Before that I was alcoholic, homeless and without a place to live more times than I care to remember, on public with four children. I was not raised in the church neither did I know God. And then down in between and underneath all that I was a lesbian, in love with a woman that I could not marry. The devil had a trap set. The key word is the word Was, I’m saved saintfied and delievered by Jesus Christ.

For a long time I would have this pain in my pelvic area and bottom. It began when I was 19yrs old (2006) and it didn’t end until I found the solution to my problem. The pain in my pelvis was bearable at times and I tolerated it for a long time. However, the pain in my bottom would be so sharp, so severe that I cried and couldn’t even sit down. I really felt like I needed to go to the hospital ASAP when I felt that pain, but I couldn’t move. All I could do was lie down on my side and cry. My menstrual cycle was all out of wack. I would bleed for longer periods of time than normal.

I was born and raised in Bangkok, and my mother came to know the Lord when I was 7 years old. Back then I was pretty much considered a Buddhist because everyone else was a Buddhist. When my mom got converted, she started to take me to church and I began to learn more and more about God and Jesus. She got me converted shortly after that, but only for the sake of title of religion. I didn’t really understand the whole thing; it was just a “religion” to me. I was young and didn’t really care much about “the meaning of life”, I just wanted to have fun as a kid.

After being raised in a Thai Buddhist family, I joined the military. The Thai army “way of life” is formally and informally full of Buddhist religious practices. Moreover, to have the best chance for promotion an officer must be Buddhist.
