You can be free from fear!

Hello to all you fellow believers. This is me going into a strong offensive position instead of weak defense for a change.
I hope this blesses you and spurs many thoughtful replies, sincere prayers, and above all what I would like to see from this post is an ALL OUT WAR BEGIN AGAINST THE SPIRIT OF FEAR.

This is a short summary of the testimony by Victoria Nehale

Dream of a tsunami

I’m not sure whether to call this a prophecy…I don’t even know where it was at. I was just told to share it.

In my dream I was struggling to get serious with God and was thinking about how I could please HIM.

Malcolm Phillips: 5 words for unbelievers – heartwarming

I think that believers can learn from these messages as well because they show God’s compassion.

I just want people to know about my love, says the lord.

I am waiting with arms open for anyone to call upon my name.

Your forgiveness of someone that has wronged you, no matter what the wrong may have been, is not dependent on how you feel about the situation, or the person involved.
It is something to be done out of obedience.
It is all about how GOD feels, not you, He said to pray, He said to forgive.
Why would God require this of us, knowing we are emotional creatures, controlled by our feelings, passions?
There is what is called the many fold purpose of God.
In this circumstance, a two fold purpose, for our praying in a forgiveness type of situation.

How to hear God’s voice

Hi I am learning how to hear Gods voice and He is now speaking to me, He is leading me down his righteous path. He is showing me new things daily, He is leading me to salvation step by step, stripping me down layer by layer. He is showing me what objects to throw away what earthly things that I need to give up and what things that He wants me to do and just to be obedient in Him. If anyone is interested I can suggest a book called 4 Keys to hearing God’s voice by Mark & Patti Virkler.

Rousseau’s Ideas on Religion and Education and their influence

Jean-Jacque Rousseau (1712 – 1778) was a French speaking Genevan philosopher who has influenced so much of the thinking of western culture that I want to digress a little from the normal kind of article I write here to explore just a few of his ideas.

The Journey

I grew up in an alcoholic home. My dad was a violent alcoholic and my mom was a mess because of it. I won’t go into details because it would take too long and there are many people who have also lived through what I have. My marriage was a complete mess too. We were both control freaks trying to control one another. He was a major partier and I only did once in a while (after I had kids when we were still together). He cheated on my constantly and made me feel like I was worthless and all those other things that guys make you feel like when they want to control you.

Leaven of the Pharisees

“…Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.” (Luke 12:1)

I read a statement this week by another believer concerning a minister that had fallen into sin, but has since repented, and God is restoring him. This believer said, “The attitude we have toward this man (the minister) reveals something about our own walk with the Lord.”

I have been humbled

My pastor said in his sermon last Sunday, “If you think you’re doing OK, take some time to evaluate…you probably aren’t.” This is the absolute truth. Last year my wife thought we were doing just fine. We thought we were “good” people. Productive members of society. We thought we were entitled to certain things. Truth is, we weren’t so good. We were leading lives that couldn’t be pleasing to God at all. Not only were we not the people we thought we were, we were, and are, completely undeserving of God’s grace and redemption found through Christ…but we were offered that gift anyway.
