Prophecies of Judgment

There are one or two men of God I am aware of who are accurately prophesying world events that hit the news before they happen. One is Prophet T.B. Joshua and the other Prophet Dr David Uwuor.

If you become aware of others whose prophecies may be worth taking note of, please let us know.

There are an abundance of false prophets out there. Usually they are the ones telling you in the name of the Lord to give them money.

Benny Hinn says God Promises Unprecedented Prosperity for next 12 months

Benny Hinn has declared here in this email to supporters that the LORD God told him, “There will be a release of an anointing for the next 12 months that you have never seen before!” He writes:

“The response continues to be overwhelming as many of our partners and
ministry friends lock into the promise of an unprecedented 12-month
release of anointing and abundance and begin to see God move actively in
their lives!”

Humanism and the Homosexual Agenda

If you are sympathetic to the homosexual or "gay" agenda, you are probably happy with the way things have been going over the the last few years. The US Government, and other governments also, are progressively legislating in favor of redefining the meaning of the word "family" and giving all kinds of legal recognition and protection to homosexual "partnerships". The shock waves through the legal system will no doubt continue to unfold in ways we have not thought of yet.

Theology of Righteousness in Acts 10 – The Story of Cornelius

I wonder how neatly the story of Acts chapter 10 and 11 fits into your theology. In much traditional protestant theology, especially amongst the followers of Calvin, there is a strong belief if the "total depravity" of those who are not regenerate by means of the gospel. The idea here is that nothing an unregenerate person thinks or does is actually clean or righteous. There are also those in various traditions who believe that without water baptism, a person is not born again.

Each Word from God Prepares the Way for the Next

The Scriptures show that when God wants to get a message across to people, He usually prepares people for it. God speaks today to His people by the Holy Spirit.

John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Hearing God, Things that Help

I’m contemplating how this matter of
hearing God works. There are plenty of clues in the Bible. The Bible
is amongst other things a record of people who correctly heard the
Word of the Lord. If God spoke to people by His Spirit, at times
without using the Scriptures, and He is the same today, then He can
still speak to people things not strictly written in the Scriptures.
This is not to say that God would say anything which contradicts His
revealed will in the New Testament, or the revelation of His
character found throughout the whole Bible.

The Jews Resisted Moses, and Later the Messiah, Jesus (Yeshua)

At the time of the early church, the Jews had by and large become really focussed on their temple and their system of worship with animal sacrifices. Many of them disregarded Jesus who was sent as their Messiah. God got so fed up with the whole thing that He arranged for the Romans to come over in 70 A.D and utterly destroy the Temple. It has never been rebuilt. I call that a strong message from the Lord of Heaven and Earth to the people of Israel about what God does and does not accept by way of religion.

It is not Desirable (for Some) to Leave the Word of God and Serve Tables

Something struck me as I was reading the Scriptures today. In Acts
6:2-4 it says:

Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said,
“It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and
serve tables.
Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven
men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we
may appoint over this business;
but we will give ourselves
continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”
