Caspar McCloud has just created a new blog here in which sheds light on some of the issues about his life.
Here is the testimony from Caspar that we promised we would share with you. This is an amazing true story about how he was miraculously healed by the Lord. It’s well worth taking a few minutes to read about how God is working. I believe it will encourage you:
Born Irish, in a family of eight, my early childhood was fulfilled and happy. My father was a colonel in the Irish Army until he
retired when I was about nine. As a family, we loved to play, sing, and act, all within a military camp in Dublin.
Just lately I was reading Dr. Yonggi Cho’s book – “The Fourth Dimension – Part II”. In His Chapter, “The Holy Spirit and You”, Cho describes some lessons God taught him in prayer. Cho is the pastor of possibly the largest church in the world, in Seoul Korea. This does not mean his theology on prayer is to be unquestioningly accepted, but it does suggest that the man has learned something from God on how to get practical results and specifically “answers to prayer”.
“Therefore, be imitators of God, as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fiiting for saints” (Ephesians 5:1-3).
When we speak of “love” here, we mean the kind of love that God has for us. Its a self-sacrificing love that endures personal pain and seeks the benefit of the other person.
I was recently (at the time of original posting in 2000) privileged by God to see signs and wonders the like of which I have not experienced before in my life as a Christian.
Our God cares for the poor and oppressed, those crying out in pain who have been forsaken by all.
Caspar is a personal friend of mine, who I have known now for several years. As well as being a very talented fine artist and musician, is a very gentle man of God, with strong confidence in God’s power.
Sundar Selvaraj was born on 17 March 1962 into a Catholic family. He has two sisters and a younger brother. When he was about seven years old, his father embraced Hinduism and became a layman priest.
Young Sundar being the first born male child followed his father’s footsteps and became a devout Hindu. He gave himself to the study of mantras and was versed in performing pujas (religious ceremonies). He even carried the kavadi – a form of Hindu penance, for three years. When he was about 16 years old, there arose a question in his heart about karma, life after death and nirvana.
One of the most unsuccessful years of my life financially was 2006. By not returning to Australia, and instead trying to set up business deals through certain people in Dubai, I lost many hundreds of thousands of dollars I would have had otherwise. I should have kept my investment properties in Australia and worked in Australia instead of wasting lots of time in Dubai. But I didn’t know at the time. I thought I could move on to bigger and better things.
Ultimately no one is to blame for this more than me.
